Chapter 30: Our Night

The Lord Council Head had held a Lord's Council without Prapai and Payu. It was to deliberate on who would become the next Earth Realm Protector. All the members suggested different people. She listened to them earnestly but she couldn't understand why the candidates they kept mentioning had one comma or another. Before she could say anything she stood up, closed her eyes and whispered " I reverse the punishment on Prapai and Payu. They all remember everything." Then they continued deliberating. It was then agreed that the Lord Protector's Son would be in charge till they could find someone else, but if he's impressive, they'll keep him. Everyone was happy with this. She finally told the Council about what she did to Moss. Everyone was happy with her decision. The Lord's Protector was the only one who did not like what had happened. He was visibly upset, but he dared not say anything. When the Council was dismissed, he went home lay in his shower and sobbed. He had a connection with Moss that no one could understand and that made him hurt even more.

Prapai went to his room. He could feel the pain, it was clear to him but he was not going to let it bother him much. At night he writhed in pains. He kept muttering the words " for Sky, it's all for Sky" he could not sleep till it was morning. The pains had subsided as he lay down to sleep. Two hours later, he felt a hand wrap around his waist. Prapai turned around, he involuntarily hugged the person and brought him closer to himself. The person in his arms felt familiar, the smell, the breathing, there was something he remembers. He quickly opened his eyes to Sky who was already sleeping soundly. He was scared whether to wake him up or not. He was scared about him not remembering him again. Moss had taken three years away from each of them and they had a lot to catch up on. Prapai placed his hand on Sky's head and fondled with his hair. Sky moved in a bit more into Pai. His eyes were closed, but he felt there was a distance. It was already hard on Pai but him being like this made it even harder. He unintentionally sniffed Sky. He smelt so good. Pai knew he had to hold his boundaries. He moved back a bit. Sky opened his eyes and noticed this then said " P' Pai, hold me tighter."  Prapai had not heard Rain call him that in forever. He hasn't even been called P'Pai by anyone.

Payu lay in his bed when he heard a loud banging on his door. He checked the key hole to see Rain. He quickly opened the door to let him in. Rain was sobbing bitterly, his eyes were red. Payu held him by the shoulder " what's wrong? Did your ex return? What's wrong? Tell me Rain?"
Rain was sniffling as he said ,
" You did. Where have you been? Not once did you return for three years. I knew I lost something important, so important that I couldn't forget. But I did. P' Payu,I forgot you. How could your Rain forget you. I'm so sorry."
Payu was stunned. He didn't know how to react to what was happening in front of him.
" Do...do... You remember me?"
Rain stood on his tippy toes held Payu by the back of his head stared at his eyes, leaned forward as he diverted his eyes to his lips and kissed a stunned Payu. This was a dream to Payu who pulled him back. He slapped himself, " this has to be a dream, Rain, who am I?"
" My personal Protector Payu." Payu just kept looking at him, like he was the only thing he could see. Rain smiled. Payu held him into a tight hug. Rain reciprocated. The frozen caps in Payu's heart melted. Rain was really here with him, the same place and time. Rain, the only one he could kill for was here with him. Payu couldn't resist the desire and asked " can I kiss you?"
" Sure you can."
Payu held him by the waist and brought him closer. He touched him first to be sure he was right in front of him.
" I'm really here." Payu sunk his head in Rain's neck. He couldn't help it. He could finally cry in front of him. Payu let the tears roll down his eyes uncontrollably.  He didn't cry loudly, but sobbed for a long time. Rain was stunned by this but did not move, he let him, patting his back and telling him " you're going to be fine, I promise you, you'll be fine, I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere." Payu held him tighter. He felt if he took his hands off, Rain would disappear and he was not going to let that happen. Through out the day, Payu clung onto Rain, he would go with him to the kitchen, the Palour, even the bathroom. Rain had to restrict him from entering by talking to him from outside the door. Payu listened to him calmly. When it was his time to bath, he told Rain to do the same. Rain smiled and nodded. He was getting ready for work, but his big baby was more important. When Payu came out of the bathroom, with a towel wrapped around his waist, Rain felt heat around his entire body. He had to step back and go to the kitchen. He held onto his chest as his heartbeat was irregular. He needed to focus as his mind played a scenario in his head. Rain couldn't help himself, Payu was smoking hot. He held onto himself and went back into the room. He held onto his jacket and sat on the bed as Payu changed to something. Rain became really uncomfortable. He felt his entire body tingle. He remembered everything and the memory of the night they spent together. He couldn't help it anymore. He stood up and walked to Payu. He stood right in front of Payu who was by the dresser. He had only one button on before he was stopped by the sight of Rain. Rain looked at him from top to bottom. His eyes changed, he bit his lower lip. He wanted to say something but stopped himself so many times. He desired something and it was clear what he wanted. But Payu acted oblivious. " Do you want something?"
"Yes."
" And what would that be?"
" Can you run my shoulders, I feel really sore."
Payu smiled. He turned Rain around with his back facing him. He used his right hand to take down three of Rain's button. He did it in the most seductive way possible, touching his skin as he did it. Rain felt goosebumps all over. Touching his shoulders, Rain couldn't help but close his eyes. Payu rubbed them lightly. Rain felt his knees get weak as Payu continued. Rather than feeling relief, Rain felt so tensed up as his body reacted to every touch of Payu. Payu let go, before Rain could react, he felt a hand creep under his shirt and found its way to his nipple rubbing it. Rain got so shy, his face that was already red, became redder. Payu went to his ears
" Do you have plans to go to work today, or should I wreck you instead." That was when he remembered they had to open the shop. He needed the keys from his apartment. He had to move out of Payu's grip, walking forward. He looked down and saw his trousers was already bulging. He ran to the door as he didn't want Payu to see it. " I'll be right back, be ready."
" I was till you stopped me." Rain ran out. He walked straight to his room. " Till now he still has this effect on me. Can I like him any less." When they got to the shop. Everyone remembered Payu and called him Boss. Their memories were back. Even P' Tai asked why he travelled for so long, without a call or text. Payu had to smile it off. He was just glad he was back.
