Chapter 93: I'll Do This Again

Prapai was frozen.  He had been consistent with his undying love for Sky and this new revelation made him feel bitter sweet. He put his hands on Sky's face
" This is not how I wanted you to find out, I was willing.... I was willing to go through this cycle again knowing you would have no bad memories. Knowing you would be fine. Knowing that you have just me."
" P'Pai, I understand you very well. I know you want the best for me but what about you ? Huh? What if I had someone else, what if I didn't acknowledge you? Would you be able to live? Would you be able to exist without me? P'Pai, I know you too well. It would be a slow and excruciating pain. The inability to get close to me. It would be better if I didn't even return than you going through that. I.." Pai pulled him into a hug. A thousand years in one second. It was worth twenty two years five weeks six hours and ten seconds. P'Pai was counting. Every second meant the world to him. Sky was who he longed for who he wanted, who he desired. The love was pure and unfiltered. Sky felt squished and had to let Pai know by tapping him. " I'll suffocate if you continue."
" I wouldn't be able to bring you back though so I'll let you be for now." The look they both had for each other spoke thousand words. Sky was overwhelmed as well. He looked at the man who he remembered like a dream. He was right in front of him. His facial features oh so familiar. Sky was in awe. Prapai was indeed handsome and that was the only word at the time to quantify the man he was looking at.

Rain and Payu woke up the next morning clinging to each other. No one wanted to let the other party go. They stayed like that for a long time till Payu had to speak up
" If we continue like this we will and up really hungry."
" But if we don't continued like this, you'll miss me."
" Do you want to keep holding onto me?"
" Yes! Till you get tired of me. But I'm confident, you never will,"  Rain put on a bright smile.
" Narak"
" I know. That's why you can't live without me."
" You're really confident."
" P'Payu, I can bet my life." Payu put  his hand over his mouth wish stunned Rain. " No body's life is going to be traded any day.
Payu carried him bridal style to the kitchen to watch him cook. He settled him down on a stool and reluctantly took his lonely self to the kitchen to cook. Rain was right  in front of him but he felt so distant. He ran back and forth for little kisses here and there. He felt  so full wanting to live in this moment forever.
Rain's phone eventually rang and he ran to pick it up. When he saw who was calling, he went to hide in the bathroom. " Hello Sky? What's up?"
" I told him, I told him everything."
" Me too. I'm sure if we had waited for longer, these men would have lost their minds."
" Obviously. Now I'm stuck with a koala who refuses to leave my sight.
" I have an owl, who sees only me. I'm sure they would have talked this out together, won't they?"
" Rain, what time would they have when they are drooling over us the way they are."
" We all have to meet up you know, I know P'Payu missed my sass."
" I'm pretty sure P'Pai would be regretting the fact that we're still friends in this new life."
" See you tomorrow Rain. The person knocking on your door won't knock forever."
" Oh you can hear him?"
" Of course I can."  Sky hung up and went back to sleep. There was an uncontrollably joy that took over him.

Three Months Later, Prapai had insisted the Sky moved in with him. Sky refused which caused a back and forth until Pai was practically living in his house. There were gossips here and there regarding their relationship till a manager tried flirting with Sky and Pai had to use the company's anniversary event to claim his man.  Everyone's mouth was agape as they couldn't believe it
It was the most dramatic confession of love ever and the lightening even panned to Sky who wished the ground opened and swallowed him there and then.
Rain became the manager of the restaurant. Getting appraisals from everyone who knew him. Payu expanded more in other states but made it a point of duty to take Rain everywhere. Rain's dream of going everywhere in the world was achieved because of his lover. It was a company expansion that turned into numerous dates all over the world. Their love was strong. Payu made it a point of duty to remind Rain daily " what's mine is yours, always. Nothing would ever change that." And Rain reminded Payu  that " as much as you love me, I love you a bit more, and I promise to be with you till you get tired of me." He knew fully well that that day would never come but he teased him nevertheless.
There was something that both Sky and Rain hid from their lovers.
When they had reincarnated. They were blessed with immortality as well. It was to be activated when they both turned 26. They would be blessed with the ability to stick to their lovers but were not told to tell them, till they figured it out themselves.
Pai and Payu still returned to Carityl and Arityl. They were still protectors after all. Meeting the Lord Council Head Lady was a delight for them as they knew her influence and respected her.
Like a nightmare a simple mission was what defined each of their lives. If any of them were to be asked " would you do it again?" The reply would be ever the same. " YES! A MILLION TIMES OVER. IT WAS JUST REALLY IMMORTALLY PROBLEMATIC."
