Chapter 44: Closed Up

Sky was so confused as he remembered the destination of the hotel. Rain looked around and was sure they were not heading to the right destination. They looked at each other, their bond had become so strong they spoke with their eyes. The decision they were about to make would hurt, but it had to be done. Rain looked at Sky and they both nodded. Sky counted with his hands and shouted "NOW!"  They opened the door on both sides and jumped off. They landed on both sides of the road. They couldn't even count the number of bruises they got but it was necessary. And one striking thing was the driver didn't even notice to stop the car and turn to look and kept going. Fortunately for both of them there were no cars coming so they were safe. Sky struggled to get up but when he finally did, he went to meet Rain who was sitting there in a daze. He hurt his head in the process but was okay. Sky was fine with everything as he knew that Payu and Prapai could easily heal them. It was the middle of the night. They had left the house in a hurry and forgot to carry their phones. This was bad, really, really bad. Rain supported Sky as they both started walking back in to Bangkok. They were skeptical of every moving vehicle and would derail off the road to hide. The sun was beginning to come up, that is when they knew they had been walking for hours. Sky and Rain on intervals would call their lovers names. They found it very strange that they called and there was no response from them, so they were sure they were in real trouble. Sky was already sober at this point but he needed to sleep badly. Both men were in very bad shape, both bleeding and hanging onto each other for dear life. Their fates were really doomed. They couldn't even encourage each other in this situation as they were tired and exhausted. They took a break and rested. They needed to get in a car and fast. They sat by the side of the road for two hours. They couldn't even lift their hands to stop a car or anything. Sky was slowly blacking out, as he kept bleeding profusely. Rain saw this and was getting so anxious. He would slap Sky to keep him awake and Sky tried his best too, but his strength was failing him. He began to apologize " Rain, I'm sorry... I'm so sorry... But I don't think I can hold on much longer, can I just sleep? Eh Rain, let me sleep."
" NO! YOU CAN'T,AND I WOULDN'T LET YOU! STAY AWAKE OKAY ! PLEASE!!!"
Tears began falling from his eyes, he felt entirely guilty and was feeling he was the cause of their predicament. If only he had stayed with Payu and let  Sky be with Prapai none of this would have happened. Prapai would despise him so much if anything happened to Sky and Payu would not forgive himself if Rain died too. So they needed to fight, fight to stay alive. Rain gently placed Sky on a rock and started waving profusely shouting for help. No one minded them, and you wouldn't blame them, seeing a man bleeding profusely asking for help in the middle of nowhere. Seemed like a scam. Rain didn't give up though as he kept waving. Luckily for him a car stopped right in front of him. The woman asked what had happened and he explained, she came down and they both went to get Sky who was laying there, his eyes were closed now. She helped Rain lift him and they both got into the car. Rain desperately wanted to meet with Payu or Prapai so they could heal him quickly but he contemplated as there was a hospital not too far away. Prapai and Payu were just going to wait for now. As they headed to the hospital, the hospital staff rushed out and took Sky. In no short time, he was going into shock and they took him immediately to the emergency room. Rain was losing his mind. He was also in a bad shape. The nurses asked to look at him too, but he insisted that he needed to make a phone call first. They begged him, but he begged them too. A phone was given to him and he dialed Payu's number. There was no answer. He called Prapai's too but still no response.

A month ago after the whole fiasco Prapai and Payu called both Rain and Sky and had a conversation with them.
" We cannot always be with you. Especially on days when we go to Arityl and Carityl and we leave you behind, so learn how to be safe always, even if it's a threat from anyone you both have to be well protected, know our numbers, and always tell us where you are. I implore you."
Sky and Rain had to learn so much. It was more of a lovers training as they got snacks at the end and were well treated to a good massage and "treats of the best kind."

In no short time, Rain agreed to be treated. He needed to be strong, as strong as possible. He was put on anaesthesia and fell asleep. In this sleep, it was the first time he saw Priscilla. He was between life and death. He saw the Immo Plant too. She truly was gorgeous. Sky saw her too. It was very brief. As she smiled at the both of them and said " remember the fountain top." As she vanished. They both dreamt other things. Sky woke up a day later with Rain still laying down beside him. He had the best dreams with Prapai in them and when he woke up the first name he called was " P'Pai?" As he got up and looked around. He was nowhere close but happy that he was awake. They needed to return to the hotel.  He was too weak to do anything. Rain was in a better shape. Rain brought fruits and dropped them as he saw that Sky had woken up. He hugged him tightly but tried not to rupture anything. Sky didn't skip a beat and asked " have you heard from P'Pai and P'Payu?"
" Not yet, I'll go to the hotel today. I've been with you all through and there was no way I would leave you."
" Please go, I'm fine now, and I'm very worried."
" I'll wait for you, I'm sure wherever they are fine. I really want to know but I'm more worried about you right now."
" Fine we'll go together. It's so strange that they didn't bother looking for us, at least once."
" I know right. They better have a very good explanation why."
Rain was worried about his boyfriend. But his priorities were set. Sky was mortal and powerless, but he knew his boyfriend was immortal so nothing could kill them. It's probably that they had an emergency at Arityl and they felt they were safe together.
The very next day, Sky was discharged. They headed for the hotel, but they were not there. Rain headed to Payu's apartment and saw someone that looked like him. He walked closer to be sure, it was him. Rain was clearly so confused and shouted out his name to which he turned
Sky returned home after a long search with Rain. The room was cleaned out there was no message for them and the people at the lobby said they saw them walk out of there fine so why didn't they bother looking for them?  Sky was desperate for answers. He had a broken arm, so he was in a sling. He got into the car and was very convinced that they both returned home. When Sky headed home, he noticed the door was unlocked. He went inside, he was shocked to see Prapai. He was going to scream at him, but was calm. Prapai turned to see Sky in the sling. He was so shocked he moved forward to meet him, but stopped himself in his tracks.
Rain was wearing a short sleeve shirt so he was well bandaged. Payu didn't even react to this. He looked at him and walked towards him. Rain was expecting a hug but rather he got the shock of his life " Rain, I know you have a lot on your mind and you're very tired of me, so I'll give it to you."
" Payu what are you saying."
" Remember you told me I have to try to win you back completely?"
" Yes, but that's not the point right now, I got into an accident and I  was hospitalized and I waited for you for so long, I thought you returned to Arityl but I was wrong I am so..."
" Rain, listen, I want to stop trying to win you, protect you, help you. I'm tired of your bullshit and I can't take it anymore so let's just call it quits. Since I got into your life, I've been nothing but trouble. I'm done being that for you. Let's end this. You don't deserve me."

" P'Pai, I missed you so much, something bad happened and I..."
" Sky?"
" Yes?"
" I'm returning to Carityl, and I'm not coming back to see you. Everything here belongs to you. I'm done."
" P'Pai... What the hell? No hi hello, what happened to your arm? Nothing. I don't understand. What happened while I was away?"
" I'm getting married at Carityl to someone I love and I can't be with you anymore."  Sky used his one good arm and walked up to Prapai and slapped him hard across the face. Pai staggered a bit, and Sky gave him another.
" Whatever possessed you better come out now."
"IT'S NOTHING, I'M JUST TIRED BEING WITH A LIABILITY LIKE YOU."
Sky turned pale at once, before he could get another word in, Prapai grabbed his broken arm and healed it, with his many injuries.
" Sky Please hate me, never forgive me, I beg you." tears welled up in both their eyes. Sky got the message loud and clear and said
" Fine."
