Chapter 67: Not Again!

Pai looked at this person who was Sky but not really. He was just so confused. This was not how he planned things to be.
" Start talking."
" Well, I don't know what you're saying just know that this is what you really want, a man who wouldn't argue with you, who would change for you, who would do anything you ask and still be admired by all."
" Who are you?"
" Sky, a better version. The version you deserve. The version for you."
" Where's the real Sky?" Pai was trying his best to be calm in this situation. He was failing but it was still better than nothing. He put his hand in a fist.
" Priscilla, she..."
" Priscilla? I thought Payu ended her?"
" It was an illusion. She was never really there."
" Then who are you?" Pai grabbed him by the throat
" Just one of her minions, no one important." He took off the magic, and he was just a regular guy. Pai was appalled " I slept in the same bed with you, cuddled you, kissed you, what the fuck man?"
" It felt nice, so I wanted to continue but you found out."
" How did you know I knew?"
" It was obvious, you didn't look at me deeply, you could tell something was off and I knew it, that's why I wanted to play around too because I knew I would get caught eventually?"
" Where's Sky,my Sky?" Pai held him tighter.
" Priscilla sold him after wiping his memories."
" SHE DID WHAT?"
"Please spare me, I was just doing her biding."
" By the time I get back, you should be gone, anywhere I see you, I'll kill you, so never appear in front of me again.
Pai had no time to waste as he left the house, he was going straight to Payu's and mumbled on the way " I'm a fool, a big fool, if Sky doesn't forgive me, I won't blame him at all."

Payu stood there with Priscilla who was carrying Rain's face.
" So, I need to know just one thing, what happened on the night you and Sky got outside of the plant."
Payu knew she couldn't answer this question because she was no longer in them anymore.
" What did you do to me in the shower, just remind me because I found it so hot and you promised to continue?"
" Oh you mean the blow job?"
Payu knew nothing happened that night, it looked like it would but it didn't. Payu looked at her for a long time then said " take off the mask, I know it's you. Rain wouldn't even answer the question, he would tease me about it, stop this,your game is over."
Pai appeared instantly, looked at Priscilla and it was just so obvious it wasn't Rain.
" Do you know?"
" Yes, she played us again Pai and this time it took us four week to figure it out."
" Where are they?" Priscilla took off the disguise and looked at Prapai and Payu, she made one more desperate plea " can't we go back to the way things were, before Rain and Sky, before any of these things happened?" Prapai looked up at her, his brows were ruffled and he was clearly pissed off by the nonsense she was spewing and said " Priscilla, if I remember vividly, you threw us away, you thought it wise to go to the earth realm to spite us both, throwing away everything we had, if we are to talk about betrayal, your name should be front page."
" P'Payu, are you going to let him talk to me like that?"
" Where's Rain and Sky?" Payu was getting impatient.
" I wiped their memories, don't worry they wouldn't even remember you. And even if you do, where will you find them? In a rock, under the sand, you'll never find those two,even when you do and they recognize you, I'll torment you both so bad that there would never be peace for any of you. Payu, I'll kill Rain and I mean it." Before they could respond, she vanished. Pai and Payu returned to Arityl.
" Anywhere Rain is, Sky isn't very far."
" Who did you see Rain with?"
" Lord Nuea!"
" LORD NUEA? THIS IS BAD, REALLY BAD."
" I know that's why I couldn't even touch him when I knew who he is with."
" Okay, let's pay him a visit."
When they arrived, they were told he was throwing a party so it would be an honour if the great protectors graced the occasion. Nuea was frivolous in his lifestyle. He loved impressing people in the most extravagant of ways. He had the money, why won't he spend in. Getting inside, everyone was quite drunk already, the whole place was filled with so many people all works of life were in attendance. Seeing the two Protectors, they bowed to them. They were kept with the rest of the guests till a senior servant came in and said
" the owner of the house wants you now."  They knew what they meant. The party was divided into classes, everyone else, the ones a little wealthy, the classy then the Protector's and high Immortals. Payu and Prapai fell into this category so they were treated as such. They were directed by the messenger when they got to the door. Pai told the messenger to wait,he turned and looked at Prapai examining his mode which was quite stern and said " promise me... Promise me Payu that you would not react to whatever you see in there. Be calm and level headed okay?"
" Okay I will." They nodded and signalled for the messenger to open the door. Immediately it was open, the place had way fewer guests which made the adage " it is lonely at the top." true. But it was well organized. They walked passed to get to where Nuea actually was. It was a closed couch setting separated by a curtain. When Pai and Payu came in they could barely hold themselves back, Right in front of them was Rain and Sky, seated beside their respective owners. Pai pinched his own leg to avoid doing something stupid. Nuea and Yayi had their hands on Sky and Rain's shoulders. It was like a show off to their friends. Immediately they saw Pai and Payu everyone in there stood up and bowed. Yayi didn't. He just stayed staring at Sky who stood up and bowed. Pai and Payu gave a wai and everyone sat down and continued drinking. Pai was given a drink too which he collected. The drinks at the Heavenly Realm were quite different from those on Earth because they were certainly stronger and highly intoxicating. Luckily Rain and Sky hadn't drank anything yet. Payu couldn't help but stare at Rain. He had not seen him for a while and seeing his gestures and behaviours, he knew he was the one. Rain was enjoying Nuea's company, laughing and giggling because he was comfortable with him but Sky acted like a bug was crawling up his arm. He adjusted severally but Yayi was relentless so he just gave up. The conversation shifted a bit and a friend of Yayi's, an Immortal too spoke up " so tell us, how you got such a handsome guy , both of you?"
" An auction, I went to an auction and a lady was given them up so we bought them."  Rain and Sky bent their heads. They felt so embarrassed and demeaned by this statement.
Pai spoke up " such a good bargain for humans that you rarely see."
" Exactly, I want them to myself."
" How much do you need to have them off your shoulders?" Payu spoke
"What?" Nuea said shocked. Rain and Sky both looked at the two men across the table they were seated.
" Name any amount we would pay." Initially, Nuea and Yayi thought they were joking but clearly they weren't so the conversation that was supposed to be a joke turned serious. " Fine fifty." Nuea said. That was double what they paid but Nuea didn't mind, he thought they would back down then or laugh it off but Pai said " when do you want it." Everyone looked stunned. The humans weren't worth that much. Yayi had taken a couple of drinks so he didn't filter anything when he said
" As much as I want to humor the both of you, no. No amount is enough for Sky. I want to conquer him first before I give him away, not with force but with passion. That's my answer. I'll end up making him fall for me, that's already a difficult task but I'll achieve it." Pai almost threw up. His boyfriend was being talked about like an object of affection or a trophy to be won. Sky heard this and his face fell harder.Yayi was eccentric in his dealings. When his mind was fixated on something, people called him obsessed. He truly was obsessed with conquering Sky on his bed. That was all he wanted and he would stop at nothing to achieve this. Pai then asked " after that is done what next?"
" I'll give him over to anyone who wants a fun time, Pai you look interested, when I'm done I'll do just that okay?"
Pai stood up with one intention to punch him but he knew where he was and used his words instead
" He's not food that you toss aside after clening your mouth, he's a person."
" A person I paid for. I can do whatever I want with him, he's my property. Mine and mine alone."
Pai had enough. He got up with the intention of hitting Yayi but was stopped by Payu who shook his head in disagreement.
" He can't talk about Sky like that?"
" I know, just be patient, we'll get them back."
They all calmed down and ended up drinking a lot. Towards the end Rain excused himself to use the restroom. Payu noticed this was his only chance. He staggered too and went inside. He locked the door and stood by it. When Rain was done, he approached him he stared into his eyes ever so softly that he felt warm inside. Rain couldn't explain what he was feeling but it felt right. Payu went closer Rain did too and he hugged him. Rain didn't know how to react to this so he froze there. His heart skipped a beat for this strange man
" I know I'm not supposed to ask you this but, do I know you? You seem familiar?"
" Then, if you don't remember me, maybe you'll remember your body on mine?" Rain's eyes widened " WE'VE SLEPT TOGETHER BEFORE?"
" not as much as we would have liked but yes."
" Who are you?"
" The one you love. Who keeps messing up, but promises to make it right this time."
