( Muggle AU in modern time )
"You scared yet?" Asked James.
"Nope." Regulus popped the 'p'. "100% and totally not."
James knew he was lying.
"Why, are you?" Regulus questioned.
"Just a little bit." James lied, he wasn't scared at all, horror movies never scared him.
"I could hug you?" Regulus suggested.
"Sure."
Regulus cuddled into James. The side of his head resting against James' chest. Arms tied around his waist.
Every time there was a jump scare, James felt Regulus' grip tighten around his waist.

( 50 years later James is 69 ( that was on accident but it worked ), and Regulus is 68 )
"You know I was never scared of horror movies." James confessed.
"But you always said you were?" Regulus said, confused.
"I knew you were, so I lied about it so you felt safe to cuddle me."
"I love you." Regulus kissed James' forehead ( which he could do now that he was taller ).
