James and Regulus were on a date, it was quite odd, filled with weird silences.

"What house would you hate to be in?" Asked James, trying to ask 'unique' questions to break the silence.

Regulus, who had overheard this on many couple's dates, already had come to his conclusion. "Ravenclaw."

James look puzzled. "I'm confuzzled. I thought you surely would've said Hufflepuff of Gryffindor, aren't you smart?"

"Because imagine coming back at midnight and you're drunk, and can't solve the riddle to get back inside, and you're locked out becuse nobodies awake." He followed it up with.

James nodded. "That makes sense." James commented.

"Well, what about you?" Regulus asked back.

"Well Ravenclaw makes sense, but probably Slytherin."

Regulus smiled, "makes sense."

"I do have a reason though." James added.

Regulus moved his shoulders back and forth. "Ooooh. I'm intrigued."

"Because of the Giant Squid."

Regulus nodded. "Oh, trust me. It's terrible. And freezing."

"Like imagine the glass breaking." James imagined.

"You guys seem to love hexing the glass to look like it's cracking." Regulus recalled.

"Sorry 'bout that." James apologised.

It was silent for a few more moments.

"You could make it up to me?" Regulus told James.

James' eyebrows hiked up, head perking up to face the curly- haired boy in front of him. "How were you thinking?"

Regulus licked his lips, suggestively. "I don't know, did you have any ideas?"

James kissed him.
