Remus was TRYING to teach Sirius how to drive, it wasn't going well though.
"So you're driving, and James and Peter walk out onto the road, what do you hit?" Remus posed.
"Definitely Peter." Sirius replies, no hesitation.
"THE BRAKES SIRIUS. YOU HIT THE BREAKS! Okay, let's retry, you're driving and a stranger and Snape walk onto the road, what do you hit?"
"Brakes?" Sirius retries.
