"So you want to join our squad?" Asked Evan.

"Yes." Confirmed Regulus.

Evan and Barty looked at eachother.

"Well you have to learn how to be a heartbreaker then." Barty told Regulus.

"Rule number 1, is that you gotta have fun." Evan informed him.

"But baby when you're done, you gotta be the first to run." Added Barty.

"Rule number 2, just don't get attached to someone you could lose." Emphasised Evan.

Regulus was making mental notes.

"You see James Potter over there?" Asked Barty, pointing at the king of Quidditch.

Regulus nodded.

"I dare you to go and flirt with James, remember what we taught you." Evan excused him, giving him a pat on the shoulder.

Regulus walked over, trying his best to act natural.

Regulus exhaled, and walked up to him. "I don't need to cast 'accio' to make you come. (😉)"

James looked confused, after all, someone he didn't know that wasn't in his grade, just approached him and gave him possibly the best pick- up line he's ever heard.

"What?" He finally questioned.

"Reggie, what are you doing here?" Inquired Sirius.

James' gaze snapped to him. "Wait you know him?"

"Siri, you haven't introduced me yet!" Regulus exclaimed, fake offended.

"Prongs, Moony, this is Regulus," Sirius huffed, "my little brother."

"BABY BLACK!" James yelled.

"I thought screaming my name was meant to be sexual." Regulus retorted.

James rolled his eyes. "You're Sirius' little brother!"

Regulus nodded, in confirmation.

James grabbed Regulus and yanked him along, "c'mon, you're telling me every embarrassing story about dear Sirius."

From what Evan and Barty saw, they just assumed their tips worked really well.

"And then he pissed himself." Regulus ended his little story time with.

James was on then floor, cackling.

"That's hilarious." James regained his composure. "But why did you approach us?"

Regulus' breathe hitched, how was he meant to say 'oh, it was an entrance exam'?

"Needed to talk to Sirius." He lied.

"Shit, did I interrupt you trying to have a brotherly bonding moment."

Regulus huffed out a chuckle, "you're all good." Whilst he was internally spiralling, how did that work? "I should be going now, Barty and Evan will be wondering where I went."

"Bye Reginald!"

Regulus' cheeks glowed red.

And thanks to James' darker complexion, Regulus couldn't see the red tint on his cheeks.

"Bye." Regulus rushed away.

"Dorcas!" He announced when he went through the Slytherin portrait. "I'm having a proper gay crisis!"

He explained his situation whilst she patiently waited for him to finish. "Sound pretty gay to me." She finally said.

"Wow, thanks Dork, I never would've know I was gay if it weren't for your wise input."

"Ask him on a date." She suggested.

"But Evan and Barty said 'don't get attached to someone you could lose'." He protested.

"Oh please. Do you actually want to be friends with them."

Regulus hesitated, did he want to?

"Come join me and the others, plus I have connections. My girlfriend is really good friends with James." She said, referencing to Marlene Mckinnon.

"Sure." He agreed.

She jumped for joy. "C'mon we're going to sit with them, it's dinner time now."

They walked down, and out to the Gryffindor table. Dorcas sat next to Marlene, making the only available seat in between James and Remus.

Regulus sat down and communicated with Dorcas via eyebrow movements and nostril flares.

Their conversation was like, 'you sly little bitch' from Regulus 'I don't know what you're talking about' from Dorcas 'making me sit next to James' from Regulus 'well you couldn't man the fuck up and do it yourself' from Dorcas.

"Bitch." He said out loud.

Everyone in the group turned and stared at them.

James who was watching them, said "wait you guys understood each other?"

They both nodded.

"Impressive." He remarked, clapping.

James and Regulus had started dating, and Regulus still hadn't told him about the little thing.

They were planning their wedding, and for their website, needed a page that stated how they met.

"So we met because you approached me, but we need a reason." James informed him.

Regulus' body tensed up.

"Regulus?" James waved him hand in front of his fiancés face. "Why did you approach me?"

"Promise you won't hate me."

"I would never. I pinky promise." James promised.

"I did it on a dare."
