The fireworks began to start, lighting the sky red and gold, Gryffindor colors. It was a nod to them winning the quidditch cup that year.
Regulus was staring out the Gryffindor common room window.
Everyone was cheering, making it even louder.
"Sirius, where's James?" Asked Regulus.
"I don't know, why?" Replied Sirius.
Regulus looked around and couldn't see his crush.
He and James weren't dating, but Regulus had a MASSIVE crush on James.
Regulus looked back, but couldn't get James off his mind.
"I'm going to go look for him." Sirius nodded back at him.
He walked up to the Marauders dorm.
James was sitting on the floor, hands over his ears, rocking back and forth.
"Hey, what's up James?" Regulus whispered, noticing his distress.
"Too loud." James stated back, quietly.
Regulus went and sat next to him, shoulder to shoulder.
James flinched and moved away, so Regulus stayed where he was, a little bit away from James.
"Did you want to watch the fireworks?"
"No." James said quickly.
"Did you want earphones?"
"What are those?"
Regulus got up, and grabbed them out of Sirius' trunk.
He went up to James, sitting in front of him, putting them in.
Soon James couldn't hear the fireworks.
He looked up at James, smiling wildly.
James grabbed Regulus' face, cupping his cheeks.
He pulled James in.
Regulus hadn't registered what had happened yet, but as soon as he did, he kissed back.
One thing turned into another.
"James! Regulus!" Shouted Remus.
They hadn't heard it yet.
Remus walked in.
"What the f-."
"Hi Remus." Regulus said, awkwardly.
"James hadn't noticed him yet, as couldn't hear him.
James followed Regulus' eyes to see Remus standing there, dumbfounded.
"Hi Moony." James waved at him.
"They're good Sirius!" Remus shouted, turning around slightly. "Lock the door next time." Remus closed the door, they saw him making a disgusted face as he left.
James and Regulus laughed, as Regulus casted a silencing spell, and locked the door.
