Bai pulled her girlfriend into her arms, who was in tears after telling her how dinner with the family went. Which led to Bai asking how she knew the Himura's, Anele had to relief the rape and humiliation she suffered from the Himura's again. Something she seemed to be doing a lot since the Himura's showed up. Bai did not know prior to this moment that the twins were a product of rape or that she was treated badly by her rapists family after she reported their son.

" Now he and his family want forgiveness from you?"

Anele nodded yes.

" Why now? Why all of a sudden, after six years?"

" I don't know but I know that he recently confessed to his family, well he accepted the twins but apparently he lied and said I consented to the sex."

Anele heard from Kyoko, the night she drove her home, that her brother Kenji, was still denying that he had raped her.

" I'm sorry I tried to force you to let the twins, Dae and Dara get to know them. I didn't know the Himura's were so evil."

Bai apologised to her girlfriend, Anele.

" It's okay babe, I was never really mad at you because in a way, you were right. They will eventually have to meet the other half of their family wether I like it or not. I'm just glad they haven't asked about having a father yet."

Bai nodded, understanding the complexity of the situation. She held Anele tighter, trying to offer comfort and support.

"I can't even begin to imagine what you went through, Anele. It's heartbreaking to think that anyone could treat you that way, especially someone you trusted but please know that you don't have to face this alone. We're in this together."

Anele looked up at Bai, her eyes filled with gratitude and love. She knew she was lucky to have found someone like Bai, someone who stood by her side even when things got difficult.

"I love you, Bai. Thank you for always being there for me,"

Anele whispered, her voice filled with emotions. Bai kissed the top of Anele's head, letting her actions speak when words failed to convey her love and support.

"No matter what happens, we'll face it together. We'll protect our family and make sure our children have the love and happiness they deserve."

Anele smiled weakly, finding solace in Bai's words. She knew that their journey wouldn't be easy, but with Bai by her side, she believed they could overcome anything. She could not help think about Kyoko. If she, Kyoko had supported her like Bai was doing now, where would they be.

Anele's thoughts drifted back to the time she and Kyoko were inseparable. They had shared dreams and laughed together, facing any obstacles that came their way but after the incident, the distance between them grew and Anele couldn't help but wonder what could have been.

Dwelling in the past wouldn't change anything. Anele had to accept that things had changed, and now Bai was here for her. In Bai, she found someone who believed in her, supported her, and allowed her to be vulnerable. With her by her side, Anele felt like she had the strength to face any challenges that lay ahead.

" I wish I didn't have to work today."

Anele sighed.

" You can take a day off tell Kyoko that you're emotionally downcast."

Bai said hugging her tighter. How she wished she could take a day off.

" Unfortunately I need my tips and I don't want her thinking that I'm doing this because of our relation."

She knew sooner or later the rest of the staff would know that they were sort of related and she did not want them thing she was getting special treatment.

" I've also sent a few cvs to anybody hiring, hopefully I'll be out of this place soon."
