" Your family's here, should I let them in?"

Kyoko wanted to say no but that would cause stress for her assistant and her family would still camp outside till she had to leave. With a heavy sigh she told her to let them in. It was funny to her how her brother coming clean somehow got them closer, she has seen more of her family recently than she has in the past six years. Only thing was she did not want this but she was a Himura and family comes first, no matter what.

" Hey honey?"

Her seventy-five year old grandmother walked in followed by her grandfather who was ten years older and then her parents.

" Hey grandma, how are you?"

Kyoko exchanged pleasantries before sitting down with them on the couches in her office. Which she had installed in hopes that one day Anele would come visit her in her office.

" You've really done well for yourself here baby."

Her mother complimented as she looked around the office, this was their first time seeing any of her companies or even stepping foot in any of her buildings.

" Yeah, this building is amazing, the company is huge and quite successful if the stock market is to go by."

Kyoko ignored the nudge her mother gave her father so he could say something and thanked them both. It was no surprise to her that her father knew how well she was doing in the stock market because he stayed on it.

" Yeah, you did well honey and we wish you continued success. We wish you and your brother continued success, hence we're here."

Her grandfather spoke. Kyoko knew where this was going, hence she has avoided her family since they met with Anele and the twins.

" Your brother's condition isn't getting any better and his time is running out. He needs to have the procedure soon or we might lose him and as a grandparent I can't just watch any of my family suffer when there's a way to help."

Her grandparents were the only ones who truly cared for her and who were never biased when it came to her and Kenji and it was hard for her to refuse anything they ask. Even if it was risky. Kyoko sat back on her couch with a huge sigh.

" This is your brother and I know he's done a lot of stupid things in life..."

Kyoko chuckled softly, trust her family to refer to rape as stupid.

" He's learnt his lesson and has suffered for his deeds but.... now I'm not excusing his behaviour and trust me as soon as he is healthy he'll answer to his actions_ but on the positive side, we wouldn't have Dae and Dara if he didn't do what he did."

Kyoko could not believe the words coming out of her grandmother's mouth. She stayed silent but they all noticed her vigorously rubbing her palm while deep in thought.

" Honey we understand that your brother's actions affected you more than all of us but he needs your help."

Her mother spoke but Kyoko stayed silent. They looked at each other, wondering what was going on in her head but afraid to ask because they knew her anger, especially when she feels cornered. They excused themselves and left her alone with her thoughts, afraid to anger her any further but hoping she would consider helping her brother.

" kazoku, huh!!"

Kyoko sneered as soon as they walked out. As she stood up to return to her desk, she noticed a black book on the couch had parents had sat on, she did not notice it at first because it was as black as the couch and it had it's back to her. She lifted it up and noticed it had the Himura emblem on it and realised it was the family photo album but with her and Kenji only.
