" The procedure went well and they'll only need a night to recover and if nothing changes during the night they'll all be free to go home tomorrow."

Kyoko nervously watched on as her parents and grandparents thanked the doctor for his service. They were all happy that the surgery was a success and that Kenji would be back to his old self in a few months but she was stressed out.

" You could at least pretend to be happy for your brother."

Kyoko glared at her father, he always seemed to have an issue with her and to think there was once a time they were as thick as thieves but everything changed after Kenji was accused of rape. Her father felt it was her fault for bringing Anele into their lives. She also blamed herself because she thought Anele used her just to get to her brother and their family wealth. Hence she let her friends beat Anele up after she, Kyoko, told them Anele had seduced her brother.

" Happy?! What we've done is not only illegal but it could've put lives in danger, it still could but it doesn't matter right?. As long as it benefits the Himura's and their precious son."

" You're acting like we didn't take every precaution to ensure everyone involved safety. We got the best doctor, best hospital and best treatment for them, to ensure that nothing untoward happens. What I did for Kenji, I would do for you too even though I know you don't believe me."

Kyoko didn't but she did wonde for a second if her dad would be this concerned for her if she was the one who was suffering. Kyoko began to reminisce on the time she was younger and her father would take care of her.

" Yeah whatever."

She left her father with those words and went outside the hospital to smoke. A joint was the only thing that would calm her guilty feelings. Once again for her family she had endangered somebody else's life, for her family she had lied and just like a true Himura she had used money and her power to get what she wanted.

" What are you doing here, I thought you were spending the weekend with your family_ where are my kids?"

Anele questioned her after she walked into her home, disheveled and smelling of weed. Kyoko had sent her a text, that she was coming over, as she stood outside the hospital smoking. Anele was under the impression that Kyoko was spending the weekend with the twins at her parents home because they had a celebration for the head of the Himura's.

" With my parents...."

Kyoko replied while getting a beer from her fridge, Anele had learnt to buy her brand keep it for her in her fridge as her visits had become more frequent.

" Is the party over or is it tomorrow?"

Anele did not care much about the going ons of the Himura family but she was curious about Kyoko's presence in her home, when she agreed to the twins spending the weekend at the Himura estate because Kyoko promised she will be there.

" It's still on."

Kyoko replied after a slight pause.

" So why are you here without my kids."

Anele was concerned, the twins did not know the Himura elders well enough to be alone with them and after Kenji refused to take responsibility for them six years ago, with his parents supporting him, she did not trust them.

" They're with the grandparents and great grandparents plus their father. No harm will befall them."

Kyoko.

" You said-"

Kyoko interjected.

" Kenji is their father and my parents are their grandparents, irregardless of everything they love the twins and just want to spend time with them. They're Himura and we stick with each other."

Anele shivered when he put emphasis on we. Kyoko's tone was stern and harsh.
