Kyoko watched as the twins, Dae and Dara, ran towards their mother, Anele, with excitement evident on their faces. They both had their father's jet-black hair and mischievous eyes . It made Kyoko nostalgic for the days when she and her brother were close. How quickly things change.

As the twins reached Anele, Kyoko saw the relief wash over her friend's face. Anele had always been a single mother, and Kyoko admired her strength and determination to provide for her children. She knew that Anele worked long hours to make ends meet, often juggling multiple jobs, and she respected her friend for doing whatever it took to take care of her family.

Kyoko glanced back at the school building, its paint peeling and windows cracked. It saddened her to see the state of the school. She knew that Anele had chosen this school for the twins because it was affordable, even for someone with limited means like hersel but Kyoko couldn't help but feel that the twins deserved better. They were Himura after all.

She wanted to speak up, to offer her support and assistance. The Himuras , the paternal side of the twins, were very successful and Kyoko knew she would gladly help with the twins' education and any other needs but she also knew Anele's pride, her fierce independence that had brought her through tough times. A part of Kyoko feared that offering help would only anger Anele and strain their newly mended friendship.

Instead, Kyoko decided to stay silent. She would support her friend in the best way she could, by being there for her and the twins. They had just repaired the rift in their relationship and Kyoko didn't want to jeopardize that. She vowed to herself that she would find other ways to help, to be there for the twins without impeding on Anele's pride.

As the twins clung to their mother, Kyoko couldn't help but smile. Despite the less-than-ideal circumstances, she knew that Anele was doing her best for her children. She wanted to leave it at that because that's what matters but Kyoko knew that if the tabloids got to find out that the Himura's were not taking care of their grandchildren, it would be a disaster. It would affect their companies, Kyoko took a deep breath and began to talk to Anele about taking the twins to a more safer private school.

Kyoko watched her former girlfriend and best friend with her children, feeling the weight of responsibility on her shoulders. She knew that ensuring the twins' safety and education was paramount, especially considering their powerful family background. The Himura name held significant weight in society, and any scandal or negligence regarding their grandchildren would undoubtedly tarnish their reputation.

"Anele, I've been thinking,"

Kyoko began, her voice filled with concern.

"With everything that's been going on, I believe it would be best if you considered enrolling the twins in a safer, more private school."

Anele looked up at Kyoko, her tired eyes reflecting her internal conflict.

" Ypu don't have to answer now."

Anele's face brightened slightly, a glimmer of hope shining through her worry.

"That sounds like a good plan as long as you and your family are paying."

Kyoko squeezed Anele's hand reassuringly.

" Yeah_ sorry I'm just surprised that you agreed so easily, I thought you'd fight me."

" Well for them to get better education, I'm willing to accept any money."

Kyoko shook her head smiling.

" So you don't care about anything else but your children's schooling. You know they need a safe home as much as they need proper education right?."

Anele know what she meant by that, Kyoko had offered to move her into a better city and better neighbourhood on the night she drove her home but Anele refused.

" Truth is I have been burnt once before by your family and who knows what you'll do now."
