Kyoko took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. She knew that her ex-girlfriend had every right to be angry and hesitant about trusting her again, but she also knew that she couldn't afford to give up without trying. She had carried the burden of guilt for not believing her all these years, and now was the time to make amends.

Gazing into her ex-girlfriend's eyes, Kyoko spoke softly but sincerely,

"I understand that my absence and disbelief have caused you immense pain and hurt, and I cannot begin to express how truly sorry I am for that. I regret not being there for you when you needed me the most but please believe me when I say that I have changed, I know better now. I finally know the truth, and I am here now, willing to do anything to make it right."

Her ex-girlfriend's eyes softened slightly, giving Kyoko a flicker of hope. It was a small opening, but she knew it could potentially lead to something more.

"I have spent the past few years reflecting on my actions and seeking help to become a better person."

Kyoko continued, her voice filled with earnestness.

"I want to make amends, not only for not believing you but also for abandoning you when you needed support. I want to be there for you now and for your child. Please give me a chance to prove that I can be the person you need and deserve."

Silence hung between them as Kyoko's heartfelt words lingered in the air. Anele suddenly had a thought about something that has been bothering her since the Himura's showed up.

" What caused the confession from your brother , after him denying it all these years?"

Kyoko was stunned, after her heartfelt apology she asks this question but she could not answer it  because of her family. Kyoko averted her eyes from Anele.

" I don't know, he did not confess to me but to my parents and I overheard my parents arguing about it. That's how I came to know the truth."

Anele chuckled, she did not believe him.

" I'm truly sorry for everything, please give me a chance to-"

" To tell your friends, who also happened to be our school bullies, that I'm nothing but a cheap whore who used you to get to your brother?"

Kyoko was speechless. She had forgotten about this incident but remembered it clearly the day her friends started bullying Anele because of what she had told them.

" Annie I'm sorry. I was young, naive, stupid and hurting."

" You forgot wrong but think of how I felt when you abandoned me and then set your dogs on me."

Kyoko did not know what to say, her past actions were fuelled by anger, anger towards the wrong person. This has been her biggest regret since she found out the truth.

" I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you."

" Seriously?"

She could see the internal struggle her ex-girlfriend was going through, torn between past hurt and the possibility of a future together but was glad that Anele was at least thinking about them. Kyoko had hope that they could mend their relationship.

" Anything you tell me to do I will do, just please give me the chance to make amends. To do right by you."

Anele walked up to her with a smile on her face and grabbed her tie. Kyoko gave her a warm smile back but her smile soon turned into a grimace as Anele, without warning, tightened the tie around her neck by rolling it around her hand then aggressively pulled her into her.

" I'm going to tell you this for the last time, stay away from me. All of you!!"
