*Natalie's POV*
I pull up to the building, I straighten Jack's shirt and my skirt. Maybe a little cleavage, it might help my case for being late. I pop the button open and shrug.
Shit, shit shit, I look at the clock and count the seconds until I'm in the building. I am so careful walking in, all I need is to be doused with boiling hot coffee. As soon as there's no chance I'll slip, I run as fast as possible, take the elevator and hand the coffee off to Carla? Carly?
I sound out her name and she rolls her eyes at me, "My name is Chelsea." She walks away with three of them and I hold the cup and quickly take the files on my newly assigned desk and round the corner. Of course I slam into someone, the files slip from my hands and someone's arm grabs me. I only feel a small splash of coffee hit my hand and I hear Bohannon snap at me.
"Koughlin!" I look down at the files and immediately start to scoop them up once he takes the coffee from my hands. I don't bother looking up at him.
"I am so sorry sir, I-" I'm still scooping up the files and I hear him huff frustratingly.
"Save it, leave the files." He addresses someone else. "This is who I wanted you to meet, Natalie Koughlin, meet Special Agent Joaquin Medeira, Medeira, this is Natalie."
I look up and I see the same brown haired man from the bar, the same man who I had multiple orgasms from last night. Shit.
*Jack's POV*
I wished I could've taken Rose to breakfast, I know she was stressed but Saul had me pick up some documents from local PD before coming in.
I'm absolutely starving, all of my energy is depleted from last night.
Rose, mi Rosa, Rose...except that's not her real name. Still, I couldn't forget a face like that, her smile, the way her dimples crinkled when she laughed. Rosy cheeks, pouty lips, beautiful curves, her brilliance when breaking down my persona. Hot. Her voice...
the sound of her moans still in my head...
I hoped I'd run into her again. I wanted more. Not just physical, no. I wanted to know her. I hadn't felt like this about someone since...
But I didn't think it would be literal.
When Saul introduced me to Natalie I half-expected just some run of the mill secretary.
Instead this woman practically runs me over and...it's her.
For running out of my room she looks so put together, and she's wearing *my* shirt.
Natalie's wearing *my* shirt.
Fuck, she's wearing my shirt. I had to come in wearing the completely unhelpful jacket I flew in with, my yellow short sleeve button up and dark jeans.
Fucking jeans, yet they have no warmth to them.
I can see everything when she looks up, why am I looking there.
"Sir, I'm so sorry," she apologizes again, not taking her eyes off me. Natalie stands and extends her hand, "Special Agent Medeira," I practically melt hearing her 'R' roll. I expect her handshake to be soft, but it's firm and confident. "Nice to meet you."
"Natalie," I say, "a beautiful name."
I look over at Saul, her hand is still in mine and I shake it back the same. Our eyes meet and I smile.
"Miss Koughlin, pleased to make your acquaintance." When I don't let go of her hand, she flicks her wrist again to signal she's done.
"Special Agent Medeira."
"Jack," I say, "call me Jack."
"Jack," she says, "I'm sorry, Agent Bohannon didn't tell me there would be another Agent coming in today, or I would've gotten you an extra coffee. Perhaps, I can make a cup."
Saul smacks my shoulder, "Natalie, Jack here misplaced his shirt and he needs a new one. Movers haven't gotten here from Virginia yet."
I look at Natalie and she's blushing, yet I can see that smirk on her face. He continues, "I want you to go to the mall and get him some stuff," he pulls out a credit card and jams it into her hand.
"Oh, no, I can do that myself, Saul," and before I can say anything more she interjects.
"Don't you worry, Special Agent Medeira, I know exactly what to get for you." She looks me up and down, "You strike me as a man of style, suave."
I chuckle, an inside joke between the two of us.
"Miss Koughlin, your father called," I see her expression change and she nods. "He wanted you to call him when you got in."
Natalie looks at me and nods then looks at Saul, "Yes sir, anything else?" As soon as he shakes his head she nods at me and speeds away down the hallway.
"She's a feisty one," Saul says, turning back around, "Come on, I'll show you the office."
I follow him, but I look back at her, frantically dialing on the office phone.
I hope she's okay.
