*Alex's POV*
I came back from the bathroom, Damien had a strange look on his face and Kellan quickly disappeared back into the group of bartenders attending tonight.
"What'd he want?" I asked Damien. He just cooly smirked.
"He wants round two, but I told him not tonight. So we might be getting together later this week."
"Oh." My cheeks were already getting red, I could feel the heat building up.
Damien's face faded for a moment, "Come on, let's go back to our table. Maybe Natalie came back."
When we got back to our table, it had been fifteen minutes since Natalie went in, so I found myself walking back into the ladies room. When I saw the two high heels in the handicapped stall, I knocked.
"Nat? You okay?" I heard some whispers and the door opened. Natalie's face was a little flushed, but she seemed okay.
"Yeah, I'm fine. We were just on our way out. Is everyone still sitting?" She gave me a smile, but I knew better than to think it wasn't being forced.
"Uh, right now it's just me, Damien and AB. Logan saw someone and went to talk to them."
"Oh, you should probably go get him so we can actually have a date." She had already cleaned her hands, and waited for me to open the door. "I'll be sitting, go get him."
I watched her walk off and went on a search of my own. I checked his usual spots, the couches and the bar where I saw Kellan wink at me, but I didn't have time for his flirtation.
I turned the corner by the stage and saw them. It was Logan and Victoria. I sighed, too many times I'd seen them like this. But it was different, Victoria was with her arms crossed, and Logan was waving his arms wildly, finally I knew it was different when his hands frustratingly pulled through his styled hair. I proceeded with caution, but before I could approach, they stopped talking and went different ways. I walked back to the table, and Natalie and Logan were already holding hands, and he kissed her on the cheek. I noticed Damien's slight grimace before he turned to AB and started talking to him.
I kind of felt bad for my boyfriend, he worked so much that when he finally had time to come out, he didn't have much to talk about besides music. When I walked up to the table, I only heard a portion of the conversation, "...that show is so good." Plus a laugh from AB, it was the hearty laugh from his chest that I knew it must be about something he loved.
"What show is so good?" I slunk back into my seat beside Damien and took a drink.
AB smiled, "Lucifer, you know. I binged it all in a few days, I can't wait for the next season." I nodded, AB loved tv. Everyone went quiet again when Victoria approached the table, a plate of drinks in her arms.
"On the house tonight, Natalie, your pin up costume really is cute," her voice was confident, but it wavered for a moment, and I felt a tinge of nervousness. She nodded at Logan, before putting a hand on Damien's shoulder, "Oh, gosh and you, well, you can conquer my castle anytime." She waited for us to take the drinks, "Well, don't let me disturb you, enjoy." I noticed the awkward silence cast over the group, before Natalie grabbed her drink and downed it. She grimaced for a moment, before exhaling.
After we were well into our fifth or six drink, I watched Logan get up again and wander off. I grabbed his arm, "Hey, Logan, um...there's something I should tell you."
Logan swatted my hand away, "Not now dude, I've got stuff to take care of."
"But-"
"Fuck off dude, okay? I said not now." Before I could react, he was out the door.
