*Damien's POV*

I got Kellan to move to the bed, and we were cuddling, but I couldn't sleep. I was worried, almost sick. Another thought of her ending up on a missing persons' report played through my head and I found myself running to the bathroom to splash some cold water in my face. I came back to see Kellan half-awake, calling in sick to work "I need to catch up on my sleep man..." He was half mumbling as he dialed a number on his phone.

"Kellan. We've gotta go look for Natalie." Kellan's eyes bolted up to me, and he shot up, as he clicked his phone off and shoved it into his front pocket.

"What's wrong, what happened, did she call you?" Kellan's expression grew more and more worried by the minute, "She was really upset earlier, it's getting colder outside, we've gotta find her."

"Woah, woah, woah," I tried to grab his arm, but he wrenched free and sped down the steps, I caught up with him and put my hand on his shoulder. "Kel, she couldn't have gone far."

Kellan shook his head, "We've gotta find her, buddy," he threw my coat at me and pointed to the door, "Hurry the fuck up, we've gotta go."

I completely underestimated the weather, it was pouring down, getting slick on the roads, and Kellan was driving moderately fast.

"Slow down, dude, it's getting worse," I tried to reason with him. I was staring at my phone for a text back, but then I remembered. When I first got here, we got a phone finding app, so I looked through it and I found her location "Kellan, slow down, she's at The Brass Kettle, we'll go get her."

When he pulled into his employee spot he rifled his keys through the employee entrance and bolted through, and I followed. Kellan asked some of the bartenders if they'd seen her and one guy held out her keys and said she was still here, but didn't know where. So, we started looking around. My first reaction was to check the bathrooms, but thankfully I didn't find her there. The crowd was a bit lighter tonight, so we were able to find her in the back of the bar.

Kellan sighed a breath of relief when he saw her, checked her pulse, and he fireman carried her out back to the car. She stirred only once, mumbling something that sounded similar to 'fuck off' before passing out again as he laid his jacket over her lap and quietly shut the back door.

I noticed a familiar figure in the apartment next door, it was Logan. I told Kellan I'd be right back, and I made my way up the stairs. It was a big brick apartment, most likely lofts or some kind of penthouse. I could faintly hear the sound of fingertips on strings, and when I knocked on the door it abruptly stopped. The door opened to Victoria standing there, and Logan seated by the door.

"Listen..." he started, "this isn't what it looks like." One hand still on his guitar, the other face up toward me.

"Are you sure you want to go with that? Really? This is exactly what it looks like. I know your secret."

Logan ran a hand through his hair, "What do you know?"

"I know that there might be a Logan Jr in that belly of hers, but I also know that you haven't been home in almost two weeks. Do you even know what's happened?" When I thought about Natalie, sitting at home crying, I couldn't control myself. I grabbed him by his collar, forcing him upwards and against the wall.

"Jesus man, easy," He set the guitar on the chair with a clunk and put his hands up.

"Do you even know what has happened?" I hissed at him, my hand was shaking as I forced myself not to completely lose my temper.

"I haven't been checking my phone."

"Why not?" I yelled.

"You know damn well why not," he stammered, "I've been trying to wrap my head around all of this, I've been wondering how the hell I'm going to tell Natalie, how I'm going to even remotely keep that relationship intact. I love her, but I know if I tell her what's really happening, it will change everything. It would destroy her," his voice cracked for a moment, but I didn't care. "I-I-I already hurt her once, and she doesn't trust easy. I will lose everything."
