*Natalie's POV*
This was the third night in a row where I couldn't sleep. I'd taken my medication like usual, but every night I couldn't shake the feeling I was being watched. The creepy calls had gotten worse, sometimes a weird noise emitting from the feedback, I'd hang up and block the numbers, but every time it would happen right before I went to bed. I was beginning to feel irritated, only getting a few hours once Aeron came back into bed. I tried calling the police, but they said unless I had a name and it was happening in front of me, there wasn't much I could do.
I was preparing for night number four when I heard a knock on my door.
"Hey, Natalie, do you want to watch a movie with me?" Damien shook the case of The Conjuring 2, "I can't sleep, and I know you've been having problems sleeping. Maybe there's strength in numbers. I'd watch with Alex, but we've been kind of missing each other between his occasional night-out with Logan and jam sessions at The Iris."
"You haven't gone to see Kellan yet?" I asked, feeling hopeful. As much as Kellan had hurt me, I didn't want to see Damien suffering. Instead, Damien shook his head.
"I miss him, but I'm not the kind of guy that crawls back to someone like that. I did it before, and I got hurt anyway." I nodded. He sighed, "There's a pizza joint that delivers past 10:00, so I've been ordering from them when there aren't leftovers from Alex in the fridge. Tonight is one of those nights, he's with Logan tonight."
I nodded, "You know, that would actually be great. The calls are still happening, and every time I try to drift off to sleep, I feel like... god I sound so paranoid."
"No, go ahead. Tell me."
"I feel like someone's watching me." Damien's face went from curiosity to concern.
"Oh, don't look at me like that."
"No, I'm serious, I'm not judging you. Do you think there's something in your room making you feel that way? Are you sleeping with the lights on?"
I nodded, "I've got my twinkle lights on, but those only last so long, they're on a timer."
"Okay, and do you lock your windows at night?"
"Of course."
"Well maybe you could call that FBI buddy of yours, see if he can't figure something out. Since the police aren't taking it seriously."
"I don't want to bother him, though."
"I'd rather you bother him than end up chopped into a million pieces in the bathroom, just saying."
After we'd devoured an entire pizza to ourselves, we lay awake watching the movie on the couch. I drifted in and out of sleep, resting my head on Damien's shoulder.
"Tali, are you watching?"
I lifted my head slightly, focusing on the events in the movie. "Mmm-hm, scary scary demons, yadayada."

*Aeron's POV*
I felt tired, knowing I'd feel Natalie toss and turn all night in the bed, but when I came in, she was cuddled up against Damien, her legs curled up against him and her hand on his chest. I couldn't help but feel jealous, but I knew she wasn't getting sleep. This might help her. My coat landed on the floor, causing Damien to stir.
"Hey man, I see you're back from work." He looked down, seeing Natalie curled up against him. "Oh, hey, this isn't what it looks like."
"I see my girlfriend sleeping. It's fine, she's been getting rotten sleep lately, so don't worry about it. Just try not to move too much." I pulled the blanket over them, seeing Damien had already nodded back off to sleep.
