*Alex's POV*

We all piled into a booth at the all-night diner we liked to frequent, and it was packed.

Natalie and Damien were especially quiet, she held out her hand for him and he took it. She squeezed before letting go and looked up at me.

"So, bro, what are we going to order? I think I'm going to get a burger, I'm starving." She motioned over the waiter and we all ordered, and when he was walking away she spoke again. "Thanks for playing with us, Alex. I know today has been kind of a whirlwind."

I nodded, waving my hand. "It was really fun, actually."

After we ate, we headed home and made promises to watch a movie but I was far too tired. I went to sleep thinking about how ridiculous AB's accusations were.

I was holding my body pillow when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Alex, I couldn't sleep, so I came in here." It was Damien's voice, and he planted a small kiss on my neck, his hand gliding down my arm, the kisses became deeper, and my senses were everywhere.

"Damien, what are you doing?" I managed to stammer out, "Damien, hey," he hit the sweet spot on my neck, it was making my body react. I felt myself getting hard, and his fingers teased the waistband of my pajama bottoms until his hand was on me. At first my instinct was to push his hand away, but he was still, until I took my hand away. I wanted it to happen. His movements were small at first, but the kisses on my neck had me moving myself against him front and back. His hips grinded against me and I could feel him pulsing against me, his hands were moving gracefully.

I woke up on the bedroom floor, I was sweating, and I was messy, I looked at my phone and it was just a minute before my alarm would go off. I was trying to dismiss the dream I just had, I stripped my clothes and reached for my robe so I could shower and get myself back together. When I opened the door, Damien was standing just outside the frame of Natalie's room, and they were talking.

"Good morning, Alex." Damien greeted me with a 'Good morning' every day, whether it was through a text or in person. I wasn't in the mood to reply so I just nodded and quickly shut the door to the shower. The hot water on my back was a welcome feeling, and it was only a few minutes before I shut off the water and started to get ready. Kellan had breakfast ready, and I sat down.

"Alex, are you okay? You look like you got up on the wrong side, my man."

"I'm fine, don't worry." I managed to scarf down some toast and eggs before I decided to go out for the day.

"Hey, thanks for being there for me last night." Damien had his hand on my shoulder, and when I looked up I noticed how close he was sitting to me. He waited a moment before taking his hand off me, and grabbed a couple pieces of toast. "Did you get enough sleep last night? You seem kind of out of it..." He looked at me again, the concern on his face more than obvious.

I snapped, "Why don't you worry about yourself, okay?" I slammed my fork down on the plate and grabbed my coat and headed out the door. I could hear them saying my name, but I ignored it and before I knew it I was at the record store. I felt immense calm when I heard "My Girl" playing in the background, and I found myself humming along. Skimming through the records here had to be one of my favorite things, I'd missed coming here. The winter breeze outside made the store that much more cozy, and then I heard someone humming along with me, but in harmony.
