*Canyon's POV*
I slammed my hand on my 5:30 alarm, remembering I had to teach Wren the bridge on one of our new songs together, and along with the warmth of Kat's hands spread across my chest, I didn't want to get out of bed.
I blinked a few times, darkness still lurking beneath my curtains. I looked at my phone to see some phone calls, a few from Frankie and one from Natalie.
I called Frankie back first, "Frankie what's up?"
"There was a robbery at The Iris."
"Shit, was anyone hurt?" My first thoughts spread to Alberto, then Frankie answered.
"Wren and Natalie were in the studios when this happened, when the paramedics came they took Wren, but Natalie collapsed, and I think they took her too."
"Is she hurt? Is she alright?" I cursed myself when Kat began to stir awake.
"I don't know, I've tried calling her back but I'm just getting the voicemail." I heard her voice break, "I'm worried, Canyon."
I sat up, "I'm on my way, alright? I'll meet you at the hospital." The line disconnected and I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Is something wrong?" Kat's tired voice kept me calm, her rough hands clasping mine.
I kissed the back of her hand and put it back in the covers, "Just a bit of trouble with Natalie, I'll keep you in the loop, Frankie needs me."
Kat nodded, turning over in bed. "Take the banana bread I baked last night, if you're worried, who knows who else is worried about her. Give her our love."
When I finally got dressed, banana bread in hand, I leaned down and kissed Kat's cheek. "I love you, dearest."

*Aeron's POV*
I'd just gotten back into headquarters when I felt my phone buzz, once, twice, then three times.
Frankie. Why would she be calling, it had to be almost six back in Idaho, what happened?
I answered with a panic, "Frankie, what's wrong?"
All I could hear were sniffles before I heard her speak, "There was a shooting at the Iris this morning, Natalie-"
"Frankie?" I felt a prickle at my neck, the feeling of impending doom. "Frankie?"
I looked down at my phone and cursed myself. It was at 1% and had died, at the most inappropriate time.
I sighed, sandwich bag in hand and turned to a phone to call her back. I didn't remember any numbers, why didn't I write them down? I shuffled through some papers to find Lakeside's number but trying to get Natalie's phone number would take ages.
I felt the cold panic in my fingertips when I remembered the way I'd left her after the attack, and I knew I couldn't just leave her like this now. Not again.
I left a note with my boss's secretary, family emergency, had to go overseas, and I left. I remember pulling into the airport, going through customs and the rest of the airport was a blur, and I found myself on a plane to the states.
I had to get there.

*Natalie's POV*
I woke up to the sting of an IV needle puncturing my skin, part of my body rebelled against human touch, until I heard Logan's voice.
