MALAYIAH "LIYAH" KAI'SHAE|21.

It has been three weeks since things went down with Julani and his family. It was also safe to say that our little "friends group" was broken.

Shawna stopped talking to Dre deciding to stick beside her cousin while Redz didn't. He said he wasn't going to pick between them even if what Dre did was fucked up.

I on the other hand stopped talking to Drequan, point blank. He has been calling me and popping up at my house and salon regularly but I always found an excuse not to talk to him because why would I? As for Del, I understood where he was coming from.

Being thrown into foster care, resented and a lot more trauma can cause a lot of things, especially at a young age so I couldn't hold it over his head. What I did cuss him about was the fact he put True's life at risk but nevertheless I knew he wouldn't let anything happen to her.

Sitting in my couch, I scrolled through my phone while drinking the porridge that I had made earlier. Hearing a couple knocks on my office door, I placed my phone down uttering a loud "come in".

One of my workers walked in with a small smile plastered on her face.

"Julani said to close up his working space, he won't be in for a while" my brows drew together in confusion.

"Julani's her-"

"No he's gone now. He stopped by a while ago and sent me to give you the message" she cut me off answering the question I was going to ask.

Nodding my head, she walked back through the door closing it behind her.

Opening the phone app, I scrolled down to Julani's contact pressing on it. After three rings, I got no answer so I hung up.

Julani has been in his own little bubble for the past three weeks. He's been avoiding everybody. All he does is smoke, drink and goes to his warehouse to torture people. I get that he's hurt but the last thing he needs is his enemies to see that he's at his weakest.

If anything we all should be together plotting how we're going to take whosoever this is down.

Hearing my ringtone bouncing off the walls of my office, my attention went to it breaking me away from my line of thoughts.

Raising my brows at the unsaved number that flashed across my screen, I swiped answering it nonetheless.

"hello, who di-"

"Malayiah, mi miss yuh ino"  The person on the other side expressed cutting me off

Taking the phone from my ear, I stared down on the number before asking the obvious "who dis?"

The voice sounded so familiar but I just couldn't put a face nor name to it.

"a suh ya deal wid mi now? how yuh nuh know when yuh man a call yuh?" he asked ignoring the question I just asked.

"Sir have a nice day" I said ending the call.

"Imagine mia ask who you ya come tell mi bout man this and man that" I grumble hissing my teeth "minno want nuh man a call mi phone cause mi nuh fuck ma-"

My rant was cut off by my phone ringing once more by the same number. Sliding across the screen I ended the call hissing my teeth.

Again, my phone rang causing me to answering it instantly.

"Likkle small cocky boy why yuh nuh stop call mi bloodclat phone? Mi nuh know yuh, leave mi the fuck alone!" I shouted into the speaker annoyed.

"Babes a weh mek ya behave suh? A Dominique" he laughed with a hint of amusement in his voice. Maybe because of my previous outburst.

Wait Dominique?

"Listen a one Dominique mi know and a couldn't him this" I rushed out hissing my teeth.

"Why a cya him dis? A Dominique Thompson deh pan mi birth paper stillz" he responded with confidence.

Then a wa dis pan mi tho fada God?

"Dominique?" I asked confused, getting a hum in response from him.

"A full time yuh fuck wid a real nigga again. Mi hear seh the wukliss babyfada weh yuh have a run from war leff him dead muma" he laughed

Francine dead? Then a who kill she now? And how mi nuh hear bout this?

"mhmmm, a weh yuh na seh? how mi nuh hear bout this?" I faked surprised trying to get more information out of him.

"yeah man, is a program mi run and light up the house. Yuh wa si the fucka a run guh dung the road barefoot and dutty Francine she lay dung a grung. marrow well splash out" he revealed confidently.

Then nuh Francine mi si yesterday?

"But mi nuh come fi talk bout that" he spoke out after a minute of silence "come mek mi bring yuh out"

Bring who out?

"Which part?" I asked excitedly as a plan started to formulate in my head.

"All yah fi duh a get ready and sen mi yuh address lata suh mi can come pick uh up" he explained happily.

"alright, see you at 8" I said ending the call.

Then him nuh think that did likkle bit too easy?

"Wa sweet yuh aguh sour yuh" I thought as I looked down on his contact.

What I'm going to do tonight may be careless or wreck-less but at least it'll give us the upper hand in this so-called war that we're in.

Sliding down my screen, I looked at the time seeing "3:00pm" flash across it.

Gathering my things, I took up my handbag before turning off the light walking out.

Waving goodbye to my workers, I walked out unlocking my car before getting in. Bringing the engine to life my phone automatically connected to my car.

Opening the phone app, I searched for a number before pressing call.

Pulling out of the parking lot, I pulled onto the main road as I waited for the call to connect.

"hello" I heard katianna's voice sounding throughout my car signaling that the call had connected.

"hey baby, yuh can duh something fimi?"
