Detectives

Angela didn't know what to do so she sat down next to Aaron while he was doing paperwork.
"Can I help you Lopez?" He asks signing a paper and moving onto the next one.

"hypothetically if you think that someone is cheating on their fiancé..what do would you do?" She asks frowning her eyebrows.
"who..?" Aaron asks now freezing and turning to look at Angela.

"I said hypothetically!! Anyway what would you do" she says swatting Aaron's arm
"Okay..I would tell the fiancé the ones cheating on." Aaron nods getting back to his paperwork.

"What if you're not a hundred percent sure they are cheating.." Angela asks sighing.
"well wait until you have facts and evidence..your a detective Angela you should know how to do that" Aaron shrugs.

"yeah but..I don't know- never mind" Angela huffs getting up then Aaron grabs her arm and pulls her back to the seat.
"okay. Just spill- I won't say anything at all I swear" Aaron promises.

Angela looks around the station to see if there is any listening ears, she sighs and leans forward and whispers
"I think Tim's cheating on Lucy" she whispers.
"oh my gosh...why would you think that-?!" Aaron asks shocked
"shh...uhhh I saw blonde Malibu Barbie messaging Tim- and he's been distant and weird..is that enough to suspicious something?" Angela explains fidgeting with her hands.

"I mean..he could just be catching up with her or something, he fucking loves Lucy so much..I can't see him cheating.." Aaron suggests and Angela rolls her eyes.
"But not everyone's squeaky clean..I mean you won't expect Wesley to cheat on someone but he did" Angela says tensing up.

"Wesley's not squeaky clean?!" Aaron asks gobsmacked and Angela pursues her lips and shakes her head no.
Before more conversation Lucy comes over,
"any of you seen Tim?" She asks looking around the station.

"uhh I spoke to him before but he just left..I think maybe he's gone home??  Call him?" Angela asks glancing at Aaron in a concerned expression.
"yeah..but I've called him a few times now- I'll try again" she sighs pulling out her phone, just as she was about to call him Tim came around the corner.

"there you are" Lucy sighs as he walks over.
"Sorry..I was taking a phone call" he says nervously, he could feel Angela's glare.
"okay, let's go- you two have a good night" Tim says looking at Aaron and Angela and walking off with Lucy.

"he's acting weird" Aaron states
"Fucking told you!! When you went into the bathroom..at lunch what was he doing?" Angela asks
"He looked sad..he had a letter in his hand and stuffed it in his pocket..I'm not sure what it was- he was being all secretive" Aaron says signing the last pieces of paper before shutting the files.
"I think we should tell Lucy our suspicions " Angela states.

"why don't we just find that letter" Aaron shrugs.
"But like..we can't exactly go through his stuff can we" Angela sighs in defeat.
"we can, the letter is in his work pants and his work pants is in  his locker. I know his code, we could just check then we could have the facts instead of accusing him of something he may not of done" Aaron shrugs getting up.

"Is this the right thing to do?" Angela asks nervously

Should Angela and Aaron read the paternity test letter?
