the ultimatum

Tims discharged

The doctor did a full physical on Tim, did a few blood tests.

The doctor came back with Tim's results
"you've passed your physical" the doctor says reading the clipboard.
"Okay. Well what happens from now?" Tim asks.

"well I did notice you were in some pain when you moved your arm and shoulder, probably off where you got shot in the shoulder. And also you were in abit of pain where you got shot in the abdomen. So I would suggest a week off work to make sure your body heals.But if you are going to be stubborn, I will sign you back to work straight away and you can ride desk for a week" The doctor says and Tim thinks about it.

"I'll take the a week off" Tim says and the doctor nods "I'll sign that off and give you paperwork to give to your boss." He says.

"so when can I go?" Tim asks and the doctor reads Tim's files.
"Tomorrow, but if you think that's too soon you can stay longer. You would need someone to help and support you around the house while your body heals and rests, do you have support?" The doctor asks and Tim nods.

"Yeah I have support, and I would like to go home tomorrow" Tim says.
"I'll grab your discharge papers now so you can sign them leave whenever you want tomorrow" the doctor says leaving the room.

Tim picks up his phone and calls Laura "hey Tim!" She says happily
"Hey babe, I get out tomorrow morning" he says in the same tone
"Oh my gosh, that's great babe! So I take it you passed your physical?" She asks
"Yeah I have. How's my babies?" Tim asks.

"They are good, happy they've seen you today. they are just watching tv and getting ready for bed" Laura responds.
"Honestly thanks Laura for everything..I appreciate it" Tim says softly.
"Anything for you" she replies and Tim smiles
"Well I'm going to go and tell everyone I get out tomorrow" Tim replies and says his good bye and hangs up.

He then calls Angela.
"Decided  to speak to me now huh? Am I not negative anymore?" Angela dryly.
"oh Angela shh! I was only calling you to tell you i get out tomorrow" Tim explains and Angela gasps happily
"That's great!! Who's taking you home?" She asks and Tim sighs
"I was sort of hoping you?" He asks skeptically.

"Of course. What time do you get discharged then?" Angela asks.
"In the morning" tim replies, Angela responds with "great, I'll be there tomorrow" she responds and says bye and hangs up.

Tim then messages Lucy knowing she'll be busy with Ryan "hey just letting you know that I get out in the morning. Thanks for everything" he presses send, the doctor comes in with the discharge papers for him to sign and he tries to go to sleep, he knows that he could have sleeping issues for a while because of the side effects of the coma.

He twisted and turned all night, he didn't get a wink of sleep.
Angela came in bright and early.
"You look tired, have you slept?" She asksd and Tim yawns and shakes his head
"Not one bit" he sighs and rubs his eyes and sighs.
"You could ask for sleeping meds?" Angela says sitting down next to him.

"I'll be fine" Tim sighs walking slowly to his bag to get his clothes on to change, he goes into the bathroom and changes his clothes.

Angela heard Tim groan in pain "you okay in there? Do you need help?" She asks standing up.
"I'm a grown ass man! I don't need help, I'm fine." He snaps back.
"Gosh chill." Angela replies and starts to pack away all Tim's get well soon cards and presents and puts them into the bag. She also goes into the mini closet and pulls out the bag of Tim's belongings, the things he had on him when he was shot and also puts that into his bag.

Tim finally finishes changing and he comes out in sweats.
"I packed your stuff up" Angela says and Tim smiles "thanks" he nods and places the gown on the bed.
