"Thank god..I thought you weren't going to turn up" Tim sighs in relief when Wesley walks into the room.
"Not here as a friend, Tim I am not your friend. I am your lawyer and that's it. No one likes you, so let's get to it" Wesley says taking a seat.
"look wes..look I know I am a shitty person for leaving..but-" Tim starts and Wesley glares at Tim "there's no excuse for it Tim" he sighs.
"How is she? Like really?" Tim asks me fiddling with the cuff nervously around his arm, Wesley rolls his eyes and sighs he could see Tim was generally concerned.
"she's killing her self because of you." Wesley states and Tim's eyes widen and shut tight "fuck fuck fuck, is she okay, has anything happened?!" Tim asks concerned.
"she hadn't ate or drank for days, her mental health deteriorated- Sargent grey pulled her into his office to put her on therapy leave but then she just collapsed. The doctors tried to call you, I remember Angela saying that Ashley answered your phone and told them to take your name off the system" Wesley explains the past events and Tim frowns
"What the fuck?! I swear I had nothing to do with it Wesley!! If I answered the phone I would have came down!!" Tim says and Wesley wasn't convinced.
"But you would block everyone? Huh?"
Wesley frowns
"I had no choice." Tim makes an excuse
"you should of just told her Tim! Everything would have been different!!" Wesley snaps frustratedly.
"I couldn't Wesley!! I fucking loved her too much..I didn't want to witness her heart break" Tim admits
"but you cheated on her for a month before leaving?" Wesley leans back in his chair and crosses his arms and Tim raises his eyebrows
"What the fuck are you on about?" Tim snaps confused
"Ashley told Angela you two had been meeting up and fucking for ages?" Wesley asks, Tim leans back in his chair and groans
"We didn't- she's lying I swear Wesley!! I've only slept with her like 4 times but that was after I left!!! Not when I was with Lucy Wesley I promise! Gosh she's wrecked my life Wesley..I'm in here because of her!" Tim explains angrily
Wesley looks at Tim and sees he's being honest "look, I believe that you never cheated on Lucy, but you are an ass and I still haven't changed my opinions about you. Let's get back to the main topic shall we. What happened?" Wesley asks opening a file to write stuff down.
Tim sat up straight and took a deep breath, "Ashley's been abusing our kids.." Tim says quietly and Wesley looks up at Tim and sees the devastation in his face "I'm sorry Tim" Wesley says knowing Tim's past.
"I physically watched her push avalynn into a wall, and knocked her unconscious..she's in hospital right now! But she's told everyone I hurt her, but Wesley you know me I would never hurt them!" Tim explains and Wesley fiddles with the pen
"No I don't know anymore Tim. But yeah I do know you will never lay a hand on a child or female" Wesley states.
"yeah but anyway, she hits the kids all the time, only literally feeds them vegetables, she drinks all the time and doesn't look after them, they both have old and new bruises all over them..AND I PHYSICALLY WATCHED ASHLEY PUSH AVALYNN" Tim says getting angry.
"Can you recall that day..every detail possible" Wesley asks
"I was making a chicken and bacon pasta salad for us all, I heard like arguing I guess in the sitting room, so I creeped around the corner and I saw Ashley shouting at arlo and avalynn stuck up for arlo and Ashley got Angela and pushed avalynn into a wall knocking her unconscious. I ran over and told Ashley to call an ambulance and she refused she didn't move, all she was bothered about if if I was going to call the cops- she then hit me because I called her a shitty mother for not calling an ambulance for her daughter who was severely hurt..so I called it, even ask the operator- I sent Ashley outside because she wasn't doing anything. Then I told her to get into the ambulance with avalynn because I didn't trust her with any child without supervision..then obviously somehow I'm in here" Tim explains the evenings events.
Wesley writes down Tim's story.
"okay the police will need to interview arlo and avalynn then Ashley, then they'll have to go to the kids preschool. Then the kids will have to have a full body examination for evidence of injuries" Wesley explains and Tim takes in the information and nods
"Okay" he agrees.
"During this investigation the kids will have to be places with a foster family." Wesley says
