Tim and Lucy pulled away, everyone at the food trucks were still talking and cheering.

Lucy cupped Tim's cheeks in her hands and looks at him in the eyes softly.
"You okay babe?" She asks and Tim nods
"I am now I'm with you" he mumbles back bringing her back into another hug.

They pull away and walk to the table where Angela and Aaron were.
"You lied to me chen!" Angela repeats.
"We didn't want to tell anyone until we both knew it was the relationship is right" Lucy answers honestly, and Angela nods in understanding knowing the fuck up tim made.
"So how long has this been going on for?" Aaron asks knowing him and Angela had a bet placed the night Tim decided to go all reckless on Ryan.
Tim and Lucy look at eachother and sigh
"Around the twins birthday." She admits and Angela stands up and throws her hands in the air happily

"Thorsen I want my 50 dollars" Angela exclaims happily.
"What. No! You two could have waited until the week after their party!" Aaron snapped and both Lucy and Tim glared at eachother confused.
"What the fuck you two had bets?" Tim scoffs and Aaron and Angela laughs and nods, Aaron gives Angela 50 dollars, and she laughs at them all.
"Yup" Angela says rubbing the 50 dollars in everyone's face.

It was the end of lunch and everyone went back on patrol. At the end of shift Tim and Lucy collected the twins from preschool and took them for a stroll on the beach with ice cream, Tim had a tough shift and all he wanted to do was have a fun time with his family.

"miss Lucy play in the water with us!" Arlo claps taking his shoes and socks off, Lucy turns to look at Tim and she giggles and takes her shoes off and runs into the sea with the twins.

Tim watched them from a far, he was obsessed with how good Lucy is with the twins..she is everything he's ever wanted.

"Come on Tim don't be an old man and a control freak, come and join!" Lucy shouts while chasing the twins in the water, giggling and laughs filling the air. Tim smiles and shakes his head.
"I'm not a control freak" he shouts back and Lucy looks at him unbelievably.

"Come on daddy!!" The twins pleaded and Tim rolled his eyes and took off his shoes and ran into the water with them..he loves his life.

The next few weeks everyone was supportive with Tim's and Lucy's relationship, Lucy finally got her cast off and she was finally allowed back on the streets.

Tim and Lucy were lying in bed together.
"Come on Lucy Time to get up for work" Tim says playing with Lucy's hair.
"Five minutes " Lucy mumbles groggily, she wasn't feeling the best and she hadn't done for a while.

"you okay? You don't sound too good?" Tim asks and Lucy shrugs and hides her head into Tim's neck "I'm fine" she replies.
Tim sighs and rubs her back "if you say so, I'm going to make us two a coffee and get the kids up" he says kissing Lucy and getting out of bed.

Lucy sits up and internally groans, she can't be bothered to go to work, she felt sick and her back and head hurt. She got up anyway and headed into the kitchen where Tim was making them both a cup of coffee.

"Here you go, your overly sugared coffee" Tim says passing Lucy her mug, Lucy goes on her tippy toes and gives him a quick kiss.
"Thanks baby" she says and sips the coffee..something wasn't right- she usually loves coffee but this..this is different. She suddenly felt nauseous.

Lucy drops the cup on the counter and rushes to the toilet and she pukes her guts up, Tim follows her and holds her hair back.
"Better not be another sickness virus. I'm not kidding you Chen I am not doing that again" Tim chuckles remembering the hell he had to go through being sick and having sick twins a few month back.

"I think it's just food poisoning or something, it'll pass" she mumbles leaning over the toilet.
"but babe, you cooked last night and all of us had the same thing. And we are fine, it's just you that's sick" Tim comments and Lucy shrugs again.
"Maybe it's just nerves. I don't know. I'm fine" she snaps getting up and flushing the toilet.

Tim raises his brows at her tone, but doesn't comment on it.
"okay. Well I'm not allowing you to go to work like this" Tim says and Lucy rolls her eyes.
"I'm fine!" She snaps again and Tim doesn't argue back
"Fine. But if you're sick at work you go home okay?" Tim asks softly and Lucy looks at Tim and nods "yeah fine. Deal" she mumbles and pulls him into a hug
"Sorry for being grumpy" she whispers and Tim runs his hands up and down her back "hey it's fine" he replies softly.

Lucy pulls away and has a shower, Tim gets the kids dressed and ready for preschool, he feeds them breakfast, and they all head out for the day, Tim was still concerned about Lucy but she claimed it passed.
