Grey didn't bother going after Tim, grey knows tim, and he knows Tim will need time to himself before returning.

Grey goes through roll call and dismisses everyone "Chen your on solo thorsen detectives want your help" grey says and Lucy nods.

Everyone leaves roll call still talking about Tim, Lucy ignored them.
She was about to go and grab her self a war bag before she seen Tim sat alone leaning against a wall with his legs up and his head down..Lucy sighs and approaches him and takes a seat next to hit and stretches her legs out.

"You have some balls showing your face I give you that" Lucy says and Tim lifts his head and wipes his eyes..he was crying?? Lucy thought.
"Yeah well no one wants me here so, not even you- so I'm just going to go home" Tim says wiping his eyes again and stands up and walks off, Lucy rolls her eyes and follows him.

"Tim as much as I hate you so much right now..i can see you have no one..and we need to have a long waited conversation" Lucy shouts down the corridor. Tim stops in his tracks and turns around and looks at Lucy. Lucy gestures Tim to follow her reluctantly he does.

She takes them to a quiet bench just outside the station, Tim takes a seat next to Lucy.
"I want to know what's happened from the start." She says sternly staring forward.

"why don't we not just do this another time, you have to be on patrol and I have to apologise to grey for walking out" Tim says and Lucy sighs
"Tim it's now or never, I want to talk now. Grey will understand okay? And your lucky I'm talking to you" Lucy snaps and Tim sighs and nods.

"Ashley messaged me..telling me i had kids..I didn't really believe her at first so I did a paternity test and it came back positive..that I was the twins biological father..that was when I hid it from you..I didn't want to tell you, I didn't want to hurt you..Ashley gave me an ultimatum that it was you or the kids..and I couldn't leave my babies Lucy..they needed a dad, and I'm sorry to admit it Lucy but I'm glad I fucking left because them kids are amazing I am so bloody proud of them.

So I left, but I couldn't have that conversation with you- I couldn't watch your heart break in front of my eyes Lucy..it hurt enough me leaving you never mind telling you I'm leaving. Ashley had no support she had no one, so they needed me more than you did, you had the whole of midwilshire.

I arrived and moved in with Ashley..and..and she was abusing them under my nose Lucy and I didn't fucking notice!! And she was manipulating them and me, she was neglecting my babies- and I heard about you being in hospital..it was her who answered my phone to tell the doctor to take my name off the list! That was not me!

We were sort of seeing eachother but i only did it for the twins..the abusing and neglect got worse and worse..and one day..one day I was making food for everyone, I heard arguing in the living room so I crept around the corner of the door..and there Ashley was shouting at arlo, avalynn jumped in and told Ashley not to hit arlo..Ashley got mad and pushed avalynn into a wall and knocked her unconscious..I ran in and told Ashley to call an ambulance and she didn't, I told her she was a shitty mom and she hit me, ambulance came and I told Ashley to get in because I wasn't going to trust Ashley alone with arlo.

When she was in the ambulance the told the paramedics it was me who abuses the kids and her..even though I wouldn't dare..especially after my past..I got arrested and held into a cell for a few days, Wesley came and was my lawyer..avalynn had a stage three concussion and the doctor said she was awfully lucky, they got put into foster care. Ashley got Monica for her lawyer and they played dirty. I got bail and that's when I got told I had to stay in mid wilshire.

I told Wesley not to tell anyone because I had to keep out of trouble so I didn't compromise the case..I was on bail until court, at court it was terrible..i got showed up and they brought up my past and tried to say father like son..the kids came in to give statements and they told the judge everything Ashley did to them..it fucking broke me Lucy..they've had the same childhood as me.

But they called me their superhero...and that's when I realised we need eachother, and I'm a dad Lucy- a fucking dad!! I got proven non guilty and Ashley got sentenced six years, I got full custody and yeah. But now I'm a single dad, absolutely no one Lucy...well except Laura but anyway.. I'm alone- first day I had the twins I struggled to get the car seats into the truck..I couldn't even turn to you or Angela.. I've had an awfully shitty five months, it's been fucking hell , and all I want to do is fucking make it up to everyone..but no one's giving me a chance" Tim explains everything with tears streaming down his face..and Lucy started to feel terrible.

"I am so fucking sorry you had to go through all that..but Tim you hurt me more by not telling me..you have to also realise why people's treating you like shit, it's because you took some shitty actions. I nearly killed my self because of you, I wasn't eating or drinking..I collapsed and I was in hospital..I went into a depressive episode" Lucy says softly.
"Are you okay now..?" Tim asks wiping his eyes and Lucy grabs Tim's hand
"Better than ever..look- I still dont forgive you for leaving me..but you've had enough punishment for one life time so we are okay..friends at a push..no more though I'm in a relationship" Lucy says and Tim nods
"I hope he's treating you better than me" he says and Lucy laughs
"Wait..you said someone called Laura do you want to spill?" Lucy smirks and Tim sighs

"The kids social worker..I'm sort of taking her on a date next week" Tim says quietly and Lucy gasps and laughs hysterically and swats his arm..god Tim missed her laugh
"You can't date your kids social worker!"she laughs
"Says who" Tim replies now smiling, they talked more. He's glad him and Lucy are on alright terms..now he still has to make it up to everyone else..
