Everyday was the same, Angela or Lucy or Wesley or Laura or grey would visit Tim before or after shift, dropping gifts or cards off from the gift shop. The twins would go to preschool and stay with Laura at Tim's, Laura
was using all her sick days up to take care of the twins, they were getting closer and closer with Laura.. the twins started to really enjoy her company..however Angela wasn't that keen on Laura after the interaction in the hospital the few days before.
Lucy was extremely happy with Ryan.
It had been 8 days..8very long days of Tim being in a coma. His body took a while to improve.

Lucy was sat in the break room with Angela waiting for roll call to start until her phone started ringing, she picked it up and saw it was St Stephen's hospital..she looked at Angela and showed her the contact.
"it better be good news.." Lucy sighs and answers the phone.
"this is Lucy Chen?" Lucy answers the phone.
"Tim Bradford's medical proxy? And emergency contact?" The nurse on the phone asked
"Yeah..is Tim okay? " Lucy asks concerned.
"He's made a large improvement..so we are lowering his medication and slowing taking him off them..he should wake up sometime today." The nurse says happily, Lucy smiles
"That is great news!!" She cheers
"yes it is, so he should wake up in a few hours, are you and the others coming along or should we call when he's awake?" The nurse asks.
"Me and Angela Lopez is on our way, thanks" Lucy replies.
"The doctor will explain more about the aftermath of him waking up, but I'm glad to give you this good news" the nurse replies and Lucy thanks her and hangs up.
"we are going where?"angela asks sipping her coffee.
"Tim's waking up today" Lucy says happily.
"Oh my gosh really?!" Angela stands up excitedly and in shock.
"yeah he's apparently made a great improvement in the last few days. He's strong enough to wake up..so let's go" Lucy says sipping the last of her coffee and walking out to change.
Angela following her into the locker room.
"Hey Lucy I'll tell grey to give us today off" Angela tells Lucy and Lucy agrees and changes.
Angela bounces towards greys office and lets her self in with out knocking.
"hey steady Lopez, what happened to knocking?" Grey asks sternly.
Angela happily shifts on her feet
"Me and Chen need the rest of shift off" Angela says.
"Lopez roll call hasn't even started. Can I ask why?" Grey sighs
"Tim's waking up today!" Angela smiles and grey stands up and smiles brightly.
"That's great! Of course I'll allow the day off, go, go!" Grey shoos Angela off and smiles glad one of his officers is okay.

Lucy and Angela rush to the hospital and head to Tim's room and sit down.
"We should really call Laura" Lucy tells Angela and Angela groans.
"What's wrong?" Lucy asks and Angela shrugs.
"I don't really..like her?" Angela shrugs and Lucy raises her eye brow.
"Why? I think shes nice and the twins love her"Lucy shrugs
I don't know..it's just something about her, I know the twins love her..I think it's just me, I don't know just forget I said it" Angela says pulling out her phone and calling Laura.
"Angela?" Laura answers and Angela sighs
"hey Laura, great news Tim maybe waking up today..I would say come over but the twins are still at preschool...and they don't want to be here when Tim's asleep..plus the doctors need to see if he's okay when he wakes up." Angela explains.
"okay..call me once he's awake- I'll bring the twins over..thanks for telling me, this is great!" Laura says and hangs up, Angela frowns at the phone
"she just hung up one me with out saying bye?" Angela shakes her head and puts her phone down and sighs.
"must be busy" Lucy shrugs and Angela agrees.
The doctor comes in
"hey doc" Lucy smiles.
"Hey miss Chen and mrs Lopez" the doctor greets pressing buttons on the machines and changing the iv bag.
"how long do you think it's going to take for him to wake up?" Lucy asks
"well he's responding well every time we've reduced the sedatives, and medications..he's really strong and well right now so probably just about a few hours. Average people take from 2-24 hours to wake up..I think it's only going to take tim a few" the doctor explains.
"That's great! Is there going to be any complications when he's awake?" Lucy asks and the doctor shakes his head.
"We don't think so..but when he wakes up he will be in pain, and confused and irritated because he's confused..he may struggle with his memory too..may struggle to talk as well..he probably will suffer with sleeping problems and disorientation. But other than them small side effects he will make a full recovery" the doctor says ticking stuff on Tim's file.
"okay. how long would it take him to get back to work?" Angela asks and the doctor takes a minute to think.
"hmm..I would need to do a full physical and intellectual examination on him to determine that..but it shouldn't really be that long" the doctor responds positively, Lucy and Angela look at eachother in relief glad Tim is okay.
"any questions?" The doctor asks and Lucy and Angela shake their heads, the doctor leaves.
"this is great" Lucy exclaims happily.
"Have you forgave him..after everything?" Angela asks knowing she hasn't spoke to Lucy in a while.
"Weeks ago I wouldn't think I would say this..but yeah I do, I forgive him. He's been through hell- I've moved on..we are fine..plus he's got one good thing out of leaving, he's saved them from that abusive bastard" Lucy explains staring tim.
"They are great kids aren't they" Angela agrees and Lucy smiles
"I still have doubts they are Tim's because they are so polite" Lucy laughs and so does Angela.
"I know!! They are adorable bless them..have you seen how much they look like Tim" Angela exclaims.
"God yes! It's scary" Lucy laughs.
"Everyone has started to forgive Tim I think...I mean he's made mistakes, messed everything up but he deserves to be forgiven and at the minute he needs as much support as he can get" Angela explains and Lucy agrees and she snaps her head to Angela.
"where's Aaron been..has he forgave Tim?" Lucy asks
"he's refusing to come to the hospital..so I don't know." Angela shrugs.
"oh well, there's still time for forgiveness" Lucy whispers and Angela agrees.
They sit and talk for a few hours, having a few food and coffee and toilet breaks.
They were talking about a case until they heard something moving next to them and groaning in pain.
"Tim?" Angela looks at Tim and Lucy looks at him wide eyed, Tim's eyes fly open..
"oh my gosh Tim!" Lucy exclaims.
