Tim got to Ashley's at nearly 2 due to traffic and road issues, he pulled up at her drive way and she must of heard his truck because she came outside.
"hey!" Ashley screams happily running up to Tim for a hug when he gets out the truck, Tim smiles "hey ash" and he hugs her back.
"so you excited to be a full time dad then?" She smiles and Tim nods "can't wait, so pick ups at three right?" Tim asks checking his phone.
"yeah, we leave in 50 minutes if you want to use that time unloading your stuff" Ashley suggests gesturing to Tim's truck.
"I thought I was only staying temporarily in the spare room, I don't really need to unpack everything" Tim says clasping his hands together.
"mi casa es tu casa "Ashley smiles brightly
"English please?" Tim chuckles
"What?! You've never heard that saying ?!" Ashley asks shocked and chuckles, Tim smirks "no I haven't" he shakes his head.
"It means my house is your house, please stay for how long as you need weather that is until you get an apartment or stay forever" Ashley says.
Tim smiles gratefully, " thanks ash" Tim smiles and goes to the trunk and gets a few bags out.
"Here let me help it'll be quicker getting them in" Ashley says grabbing some of his stuff.
They walk inside and grab everything and put it into the spare room, which was now Tim's new room. Ashley helped Tim get set up "thanks for this, the room and letting me be involved with the kids lives" Tim says as he folds his clothes up..why is he thanking her..she gave him an ultimatum..she's manipulative.
"hey they are your kids it's no biggie" she smiles as grabs Tim's hands and squeezes it.
suddenly Tim's phone started ringing, he glanced down and saw it was aaron.
Tim sighed and cancelled the call, he called again and Tim cancelled again..Tim sighed
Ashley looked at Tim questionably
"Aaron" he tells Ashley
"you aren't answering?" She asks folding one of Tim's shirts.
"nope.." Tim shook his head and carried on folding his clothes.
"why not?" She asks curiously
"Because..I sort of just upped and left with no explanation..I'll explain tonight when there's drink in front of me" Tim chuckles.
"okay no bother. Well it's 2:45 we should be getting ready to set off, the twins finish soon" Ashley says putting a pile of shirts in a drawer, Tim doing the same.
They both head out the room and back down stairs. "the kids are going to be excited to see you, it'll be a surprise you coming to pick them up" Ashley says happily.
"I can't wait to see their little faces" Tim laughs.
"okay we've really got to go now" Ashley says checking her phone and grabbing her car keys, they head out to her car and get in.
They laugh and chatter on the way there. They pull up to their preschool and get out the car and walk up to the entrance really awfully close to each other- their hands slightly touching.
Tim opens the door for Ashley "what a gentleman" Ashley jokes and they both walk in and walk to the kids classroom.
The twins were sat drawing still when Tim and Ashley came, a teacher came over "the twins have been great! Well behaved" she complimented, Tim and Ashley smiled like proud parents "great!" Ashley smiles walking over to their little cubbyholes and grabbing their stuff.
"who's this well handsome man" the twins teacher joked gesturing to Tim
"Oh, I'm the twins dad- Tim Bradford" Tim smiles putting his hand out to shake the teachers.
"hello Tim, im miss crystal..I take it you need to be added to the pick up list" she smiles and Tim nods
"okay follow me" the teacher says and walks to the desk with Tim.
Ashley walks over to the twins
"Hey babies" she bends down
"Is daddy here?" Arlo asks looking around
"Yeah he's giving miss crystal some information" Ashley says softly
"Otay." The twins say
"don't show me up..don't embarrass me infront of your dad..don't miss behave, be good or you know what will happen" Ashley says dangerously low to the twins before Tim comes back.
Both of their eyes water but they nod, Tim comes back "hey I gave them my information so I can collect them whenever you need me too" Tim says.
Ashley glares at the twins before turning back around to Tim "oh great! That'll be helpful" she smiles brightly.
"DADDY!!" Averlyn and arlo scream running up to Tim's legs and hugging them, Tim bends down and hugs them both and kisses their heads. "Hey babies, ready to go home?"tim asks and they all agreee and head back to Ashley's.
