the ultimatum

Its perfect tim.

"lucy can you take the twins to preschool? I've been called in" Tim shouts from the bedroom putting the ring into his pocket and getting all his stuff together.

"Is everything okay?" Lucy shouts back plating up the twins breakfast.
"Uhh, yeah, yeah grey just needs me." Tim says as he walks into the kitchen and kisses Lucy.
"Okay. I will see you at work yeah?" Lucy says and Tim nods and says bye to the twins and leaves.
"See you at work, love you!" He shouts before leaving and shutting the door.

He jumps into his truck and drives straight to mid Wilshire station.

He arrives not too long later, traffic wasn't terrible. He quickly gets out the truck and runs to the locker room to change into his uniform and he makes sure to put the ring into his pocket. He then stalks out of the locker room in excitement..

Everyone was there..most officers in the station was stood waiting around, everyone was there for him and Lucy, everyone was happy for them.

Grey came up to him with a huge smile
"I told you I'll sort it." He says happily.
"It means so much, where's Angela?" Tim asks looking around for his best woman.
"Uhh, yeah. She's purposely waiting for Lucy, to guide her to get changed then for her to come out here" grey says and Tim smiles.

"Perfect" he replies.

"bye sweeties see you later" Lucy says softly to the twins at the drop off doors and heads straight to the station.

She arrives at the station and immediately Angela walks up to her.
"Hey Chen" Angela says happily.
"Hey Angela." She replies.
"Excited for your first day back?" Angela asks as they walk into the locker rooms.

"Nope. I'll be getting wrapped in bubble wrap by everyone. I can't wait to get out of the first trimester" she sighs as she places her bag down on the bench in the middle of the locker room and opens her locker to change into her uniform.

Angela brushes her curls in the mirror on her locker door "you have to understand why they would though" Angela responds.
"no. I can take care of my self" Lucy chuckles back securing her hair into a bun.

"okay." Angela says giving a short response, she was so excited for what was coming up.

They were both ready and walked out the locker room "where is everyone?" Lucy asks not seeing a single officer.
"Oh you know, floating around" Angela shrugs and they finally approach Tim and the huge crowd of officers with huge smiles.

Lucy frowns "what on earth is happening?" She scoffs, Angela steps away to stand with Aaron grey and Nyla.
"Okay. Lucy Chen, You are the love of my life..you make me feel so special and loved. You are an amazing, bright human and you deserve everything, which is why I'm redoing this.." he says as he gets on one knee.
"Lucy Chen we met here, we first laid eyes in this place, I fell in love with you here, this is where our hearts are..this is where our family and future is..Lucy Chen will you marry me?" Tim says with a smiles showing the ring.

Lucy laughs  "I've already said yes you idiot" and pulls him up into a hug and a deep kiss, they weren't really into PDA in the station but this was an exception. Everyone around them was clapping. They pulled away and Tim out the ring on Lucy's finger and she gasped at how gorgeous and perfect it was.
"It's perfect Tim" she says softly admiring the ring.
