Wesley watched the doctor go away and he sees the police officer down the hall. He runs over to him
"Officer Carr!" He shouts and he turns around
"can I help?" He asks and Wesley nods
"What's going on? What's Ashley saying?" He asks
"She's getting a lawyer..that man has ruined that poor woman." The officer says and Wesley frowns
"No..Tim didn't do anything it was her?" Wesley says confused.

"she is awfully upset..I do believe it was mr Bradford who hurt her" the officer sighs.
"what?! No. No, no! He would never- your just stereotyping the man! Every officer thinks that the boyfriend and husbands are the suspects..when Tim is literally the victim" Wesley says angrily

The officer places his hands on his duty belt "We will see in court." He says and walks off
What the actual fuck just happened?!!

Wesley rolls his head back in stress, he then storms out the hospital back to the police station where Tim was rotting in a cell.

He pulled up to the station and walked into the station, signed him self in and walked to the holding cells.
"Open cell 3 for me officer?" Wesley shouts and as soon he hears the beep of the door opening he walks straight into the cell.

Tim was leant against the wall just zoned out..it sort of looked like he had been crying??

Wesley sighed and sat next to Tim "Oh hello I I didn't even realise you were there" Tim chuckles awkwardly and wipes his eyes.
"I'm not meant to be here but I'm here and because it's you, but I still really dislike you right now" Wesley says

Tim deflated "how was the interviews?" He asks and Wesley didn't answer at first
"Wes?" Tim asks
"Ashley is saying that you hurt her, she's made it look believable somehow..the officer believes her and she's getting a lawyer to get you sent down" Wesley explains

"What about the kids? How were they when you spoke to them? Is avalynn okay?" Tim asks worried, Wesley could see he was generally concerned about them.
"avalynn gets discharged tonight, they are good kids Tim and they need and love you, and I understand as a dad that you need to be there for your kids which is why I'm doing everything in my power to prove you are  innocent" Wesley says softly and Tim looks at Wesley.

"thanks. I mean it Wesley. I know I've been an awfully shitty person and there isn't even an excuse for what I've done. And I know that it's going to take a lot to get everyone's forgiveness" Tim says feeling guilty.
"I'm not doing it for you, I'm doing it for them kids they need you. They are scared of Ashley, they desperately need a parent who loves and cares for them, plays with them and that's you. " Wesley patting Tim's knee.

"what do you think is going to happen?" He asks now feeling scared.
"Tim to be honest I don't know. I can built a solid case on Ashley because yours and the kids story's match..but it depends what goes on in court and it depends if she plays dirty" Wesley answers honestly

"did you know she gave me an ultimatum. That's why I left- she said it was either her or
Lucy" Tim chuckles dryly.
"she did?" Wesley snaps his head to him.
Tim nodded "Yeah. Obviously I wasn't going to leave my kids..it's still not an excuse for leaving." Tim sighs.

"you could of told someone! Didn't even had to be Lucy it could have been Angela, Aaron, me? Sargent grey?" Wesley says.
"I know." Tim replies
"I heard you completely resigned from the force? Tim that job was your life..you loved being on the force serving and protecting the streets" Wesley says confused.

"yeah but if I requested to join the force here I would be the John Nolan of San Francisco, I would have to do all my training again as I'm not in an LA department" Tim explains fidgeting with his hands
."So what do you work as now?" Wesley asks.
"Fucking mall security" Tim says quietly and Wesley started laughing hysterically.
"No way" he laughs
"Shut up, you're a lawyer" Tim scoffs.
"Yeah the lawyer that's going to do anything in my power to bail you out" Wesley chuckles and Tim nods.

"okay man I've got to go, take care. I will be back soon to update you" Wesley says.
"wait wes" Tim shouts
"yeah?" He answers
"is there not anything you can do to get me out of here..just for now? Whether it's probation and go back to Mid-Wilshire until court..come on man" Tim asks.
"I will see what I can do" Wesley says and walks off.

Ashley watched the kids play with avalynn bears from the door way of the hospital room.
She picks up her phone and calls a number.

"This is DA Monica Steven's..how can I help?" She answered.
"Monica, it's Ashley McGrady, I'm in abit of trouble and I need you to help me get Tim Bradford sent to prison- his lawyer is Wesley.."
