"During this investigation the kids will have to be places with a foster family." Wesley says

"no..you can't..Wesley- they'll be alone and scared-Avalynn is still in hospital!"Tim says getting worried
"Tim there's not really another way, I am so sorry- but they do have to be put in care" Wesley sighs.

Tim just nods "get the police officer in here so I can have my interview over and done with." Tim says nodding towards the door.
Tim had his interview tells them everything from the beginning, even about the ultimatum she gave, Wesley is siding with Tim putting a case up against Ashley.

Wesley was walking Tim back to his holding cell with an officer "Wesley can you ask if you can do the interviews with the twins..I don't trust an officer or a detective? Please?"tim pleads, Wesley rolls his eyes and nods "fine, I will do it in the morning. But Tim we are not friends remember " he says and walks off to make his way a motel to sleep for the night.

He got into his motel and called Angela
"Hey babe sorry it's so late" Wesley says
"Hey it's fine you've been busy, so how are you how's Tim?" She asks
"well..Ashley is accusing Tim of abusing her and the kids and Tim is saying Ashley is abusing him and the kids..I do see that Tim is being genuine and honest, so I'm helping him build a case and find evidence against Ashley" Wesley explains.

"He doesn't deserve your help" Angela states.
"I know but I'm treating him like a usual client, oh apparently Tim wasn't cheating on Lucy and apparently he didn't request to be taken off Lucy's emergency contact list" Wesley informs Angela.
"I knew there was something fishy about it..he's been gone four months or something, how does so much fuck up in four months?!" Angela
States
"I don't even know."Wesley agrees
"so were him and Ashley together?" Angela asks wanting to know the gossip.

"well I think so..he did say he's slept with Ashley a few times after he left.." Wesley says
"ew." Angela scoffs and Wesley laughs and agrees.
"how's the kids?" Angela asks
"I don't know, I haven't got that much information on them but they'll probably have to go into foster care while the investigation continues" he replies jumping into bed.
"oh gosh, them poor babies- as much as I hate Tim with all my guts and Ashley I feel bad for them kids" Angela says sadly
"me too. babe I'm going to go now, I love you- I have an early start because Tim wants me to be the one to interview the kids because he doesn't trust anyone else" Wesley explains turning the light off
"Okay babe, love you too" she says and hangs up.

Wesley puts his phone on charge and lays down what the fuck has Tim done.

A doctor came into Avalynns hospital room and put in an extra bed for Ashley to stay in as both arlo and avalynn were laying in the hospital bed asleep.

Ashley got onto the bed and fell to sleep peacefully knowing that she had ruined Tim's and Lucy's lives

The next morning they woke up because of a knock on the door "morning Ashley and kids" Wesley greeted them from the door way.

"Why are you here?!" Ashley snapped sitting up on the bed.
"I need to speak to interview the kids" Wesley says
Ashley frowns "no you don't. They have nothing to do with this."

"Actually they do, avalynn got hurt- Tim's saying you abuse them so yes. So if you mind just popping out for a second?" Wesley says taking a step into the room.

Arlo stirred and woke up and looked at Wesley and Ashley, they didn't realise arlo woke up.
"I wouldn't dare touch my babies!" Ashley snaps and arlo jumped in
"You- you pushed Ava mommy!" He says with wide scared eyes.

Wesley looked at arlo and saw a splitting double of Tim..Wesley softened "is that true kiddo?" He asked arlo. Arlo nodded "Momma pushed her into wall because mommy was being mean to me and Ava helped me and- and mommy just pushed Ava and Ava fell to sleep" arlo explains full of innocence.

"That's not true! Stop lying arlo!! You're exactly like your dad a liar!" Ashley snaps her head at arlo.
"daddy no liar. Daddy makes me hwappy" he replies with a sad face..Wesley sighs sympathetically..he supposes that there is some good to Tim leaving.

"No he doesn't. Look Wesley- he's only 3 and he's very confused and Tim manipulated him" Ashley says trying to make arlo look like a liar.
"well Ashley your well aware that I have a three year old, Jack? And I know that at that age they are very well aware what they are talking about." Wesley says standing straight and crossing his arms.

Ashely was about to argue against Wesley until avalynn woke up
"My head hurts" she cries
"I know. Doctor says it'll hurt for a while" Ashley says about to place her hand on avalynns but she flinched and Wesley raised his eyebrows.

"can I quickly interview them please..it'll only take a few minutes" Wesley repeats the question from earlier.
"fine. I'll be outside" she says jumping up from the bed and walking out the room and shutting the door.

Wesley smiles at the twins and takes a seat on the plastic chair in the corner.
"who are you?" Avalynn asks.
"I am your daddy's old friend. Wesley" he replies

"You not friends with him no more?" Arlo asks shining his bright blue eyes that looked like tims at Wesley, Wesley shakes his head no.

"Why not?" Avalynn asks also widening her blue eyes at him
"Your dad is a great man! And an amazing dad! But he upset one of my good friends" Wesley says sadly
"he's not a horrible person" avalynn tells Wesley and Wesley sighs he is, but I'm not going to tell his kids that.

"No he's not, he's great" Wesley replies softly.
"he is!" Arlo claps and Wesley smiles and nods.

"okay. Can you two tell me your full names so I can record this conversation?" Wesley asks the twins and they both nod, Wesley turns his phone recorder on.
"I am DA Wesley Evers interviewing.." Wesley gestures to the twins to speak.

"avalynn Elizabeth Bradford" she answers bubbily
"Arlo James Bradford" arlo claps excitedly.

"okay you guys do you know your mommy's name?" He asks
"Ashley" avalynn says sitting up slowly due to the pain in her head
"Do you know your daddy's name?" Wesley asks
"Timothy" arlo chuckled because he thought his name was funny.

"Okay how does your daddy treat you?" Wesley asks readjusting the recorder to get a clearer view.
"he is the best daddy ever! He plays with us and makes us so so happy! I love him alot a lot a lot!" Arlo answers and avalynn agrees.

"okay, how does your mommy treat you?"
