the ultimatum

lucy!

Lucy's alarm went off at 6:00AM she groans and gets up, she hasn't felt too great all night she's probably had about 4 hours sleep due to stressing about Tim, and feeling sick. She heads downstairs where she finds Angela sitting on the couch eating left over pizza and drinking a coffee.
"Oh hey" Angela smiles chewing pizza.
"Seriously? Pizza at this time" Lucy chuckles.

"what's the issue with that Chen?" Angela chuckles and sips her coffee.
"Nothing you just do you okay?" Lucy laughs and Angela sticks up her thumb as she stuffs her face with pizza.
"I'm grabbing..a coffee" Lucy mumbles and Angela sighs

"we don't have decaf and caffeine isn't good for the baby, why don't we grab a coffee from the cafe after taking the kids to preschool" Angela offers and Lucy nods.
"Yeah sounds like plan" she agrees.

"are you okay Lucy?" Angela asks sensing something is off.
"Yeah good, just tired" she mumbles and yawns.
"how much sleep have you had" Angela raises her eyebrows and Lucy shrugs.
"A few hours. I don't know. I was stressing about Tim and I felt really nauseous" Lucy says taking a seat next to Angela.

"okay. You should have woke me up Lucy, I would have gave you a ginger tea or something. Don't hesitate to ask for help" Angela replies placing a hand on Lucy's shoulder, Lucy gets a whiff of coffee and immediately stands up and sprints to the trash can to throw up.

Angela stands up and eats the last bite of pizza as she walks over to Lucy and pulls her hair back and rubs her back.
"All the sickness won't be as bad in a few weeks" Angela says softly still chewing her pizza.
"I hope so." She grumbles back and stands back up, Angela lets go of Lucy's hair and goes to the kitchen and grabs a bottle of water out the fridge for Lucy and gives her it.

"Here, drink.. I'm going to go and wake the three kids up and get them ready we can just go to the cafe for breakfast" Angela says walking away up the stairs.

They all get ready and leave to go to the cafe, they grab food and Angela and Lucy take the twins and Jack to preschool and head to the station.

"when is Tim calling you?" Angela asks as they grab their stuff and head into the station.
"Before and after he sees Ashley" Lucy replies and Angela nods.
"Wesley's been messaging me saying he seems fine so don't stress" Angela says and Lucy smiles and thanks Angela for telling her.

They head to the locker room and Lucy changes and Angela fixes her self up.
"Are you still on desk?" Angela asks and Lucy nods.
"Yeah. Until second trimester" she says and Angela nods.
"Nyla called a personal, and Aaron is working on patrol, so I was going to see if you wanted to sit with me all day and help me solve a case" Angela offers.

"As much as I would love too, I would rather stay in the station. Plus I have paperwork to do" Lucy says.
"okay, well I'll sit with you until Tim calls and then I'm heading out" Angela tells Lucy and Lucy smiles at Angela gratefully.

They go to roll call and head to Angela's desk and they both fill out paperwork, and have the odd conversation and laugh. Lucy's phone started calling.
"It's tim, I think that's him calling he's going to see her" Lucy informs Angela and wipes the phone to answer, she places the phone against her ear.

"Hey babe" tim says
"Hey." Lucy replies and sighs.
"I'm heading in now" Tim informs Lucy.
"Okay babe, I love you and be careful. Don't let anything that women says  get to you, do you understand?" Lucy says protectively.
"Yeah promise. Love you lucy" he says and they hang up.

Lucy places the phone on the side and sighs
"He okay?" Angela asks still writing on a report not looking up.
"Yeah. He's going in now he said he will ring me soon" Lucy says.
"Okay. I hope it goes well then we can throw the Ashley chapter away and rip it up" Angela responds, Lucy knows it very clearly won't go well, Ashley is a selfish bitch she will not sign them rights over. She thinks this whole visitation is a waste of time and it's STRESSING her out.
"yeah..is it hot in here or is it just me?" Lucy asks now flapping her hand infront of her face trying to get a breeze.

"Just you."Angela replies.
"Im heading to get a water, do you want anything?" Lucy asks and Angela thinks for a minute and bites the end of her pen, then points the pen at Lucy.
"Get me that Reese's cups from the back of the coffee machine." Angela says and Lucy frowns
"Why are they there?" She chuckles
"I had to hide them because smitty kept eating them." She grumbles.
Lucy smiles and nods and gets up, she felt really off as she walked off..

Suddenly her vision went blurry and everything went black..
"LUCY!"
