the ultimatum

Lucy meets Tim Aaron and Angela for lunch, they all just headed straight for a table.
"Aaron, tim why don't you two be gentlemen and buy lunch for the ladies?" Angela asks smirking, Tim and Aaron roll their eyes and walk off to buy food.

"so how did it go?!" Angela asks Lucy about the scan as Tim and Aaron were out of ear shot.
"it went..amazing Angela! Oh my gosh..I'm around 9 weeks that means my due date is March next year. I just can't fucking believe it's real ang" Lucy says happily and Angela smiles for her best friend.
"I'm happy for you luce, like really!" She replies softly.
"it just doesn't feel real..like how is my life so perfect?? It's a dream right this isn't real?" Lucy says still shocked about everything.

"No lucy, it's real..but luce you deserve it all and more!" Angela snaps back and Lucy tears up again.
"Damn hormones are all over. You're the best Angela, like I love you so much thanks for being here..and there for me last night" Lucy responds and Angela grabs Lucy's hand and rubs it.
"anytime Lucy, plus. You need to call name your child now after me, I've earned that spot" Angela winks and Lucy bursts into laughter.
"We will see" she shakes her head wiping a tear.

Before anymore conversation Tim and Aaron came back with the food, Tim got Lucy a veggie burger with extra pickles and the smell immediately made Lucy feel ill, she immediately paled..and the whole table noticed.
"You okay Lucy?" Tim asks gaining concern.
"Yeah. Mhm, uhh I need the bathroom" she says trying to breathe through her nausea, she speeds off before anyone could say anything.

She runs to the toilet and pukes up her breakfast and everything she had to eat that day. As much as she was excited to be pregnant and have a baby she was so over this morning sickness.

Tim watches Lucy speed off and he looks back at Angela who was still watching Lucy speed off, she didn't look concerned though..Tim picked that up.

"Uhh is she okay?" Aaron asks and both Angela and Tim turned back to him.
"Oh yeah she's good promise! Actually I'm going to check on her.." Angela says jumping up and following her.

Tim leans back and crosses his arms and frowns.
"She's hiding something." He mumbles and Aaron sighs.
"Hey man, look whatever is wrong with Lucy she will tell you when she's ready trust" Aaron responds and Tim sighs.
"You're right..she will.." he sighs tucking into his fries.

The two women come back, Lucy looked back to a normal colour and she was laughing with Angela, Tim was utterly confused but he decided not to push until Lucy told him what's going on.

Lucy sits down and scoffs down her fries but doesn't touch her burger, no one says anything about it however.

It was eventually the end of lunch and everyone headed back on the streets.

The next morning Tim got the twins ready for preschool and went to work, Lucy didn't go in as she called a personal day because she was getting cramps in her stomach and bad head aches and backaches, she knows her head won't fully be in the game so she will be a risk to herself, the baby and others on the streets. She just told Tim that she was having bad period cramps..even though she wasn't because she is pregnant.

Tim was reluctant to leave her alone, but Lucy practically chased him out the house, she wanted the day alone to get everything prepared for the next day.

She has a lazy morning just laying in bed watching tv and eating a lot of food, but it hit around 10:30 and she decided to pull her self together and go shopping.

She arrived at the shopping centre and she decides to go to a store which does personalised items, she purchases two shirts for the twins that say 'best big brother' and 'best big sister'
