Lucy looks at the twins in awe, their blue eyes stared right into hers. Lucy immediately softened
"Come here" she says opening her arms, the twins ran into her arms and hugged her, Lucy kissed their heads and rubbed her hands up and down their backs.

"I would love to be your mommy, but your daddy has to be okay with it first"Lucy says softly, her eyes tearing up with happy tears.
"Daddy says yes." Arlo says back.
"You have to remember I'm not your real mommy though" Lucy says disappointedly. Tim hears that statement from where he was stood and he sighs..he really needs to talk to Ashley.

"But- but our mommy don't want us" Avalynn says playing with Lucy's necklace.
Lucy sighs  softly "I'll be your mommy, blood and family doesn't matter." Lucy replies sadly.
"so we can call you mommy?" Arlo asks and Lucy smiles.
"Course, you can call me whatever you want sweetie" she says back.
"Are you and daddy going to love the baby more than us?" Avalynn asks sadly and Lucy frowns and looks down at her.
"Of course not honey, we love you both so much okay, don't think that because there will be a baby in the house means that I won't love you any less. I will love you and the baby the same okay?" She replied and the twins nodded.

"We love you too mommy" they respond, Lucy hugs them tighter and kisses them.
"Okay you guys, we are now late for school and work so come on" she says softly pulling away and stroking their cheek, and they all realised Tim watched the whole interaction from the door.

"hey" Lucy says softly to Tim, Tim smiles softly and approached them.
"hey" he replied kissing Lucy then turning back to arlo to put his shoes on.
"Daddy Lucy says she wants to be our momma!" Avalynn claps, Tim smiles
"I know!" He replies.

He finished putting arlos shoes on.
"Grab your bags" he tells them and they run off, he turns to Lucy and brings her into a hug.
"I love you" he says into her ear
"I love you more" she replies.

They pull away and Lucy wipes her happy tears, they immediately set off to take the twins to preschool knowing they were late.

They dropped the twins off and they were on their way to the station.
"if your not comfortable being their mom it's okay" Tim says as he stops at a red light.
Lucy frowns and turns to him "why would you say that?" She replies and Tim shrugs.
"I don't know" he admits.
"of course I'll be there mom tim, if anything I've been more their mom than Ashley ever has. I'm so happy they are comfortable calling me mom, and I'm glad and happy they see me as their mom" she replies and Tim smiles

"Thanks..thanks for giving me another chance, and thanks for taking the twins in like your own" he replies.
"I love you" she replies.
"Love you too" Tim says as the traffic lights turn green.

He pulls into the station car park and stops the truck once they park.
"Remember Lucy, easy calls or desk" he reminds her and Lucy rolls her eyes.
"I know, I know"she replies as they hold hands and walk into the station, Tim didn't say anything.

Grey noticed they came in late
"Chen Bradford, come here" he shouts across the station, Tim and Lucy look at eachother and head into his office and shuts the door.
"how can we help?" Tim asks curiously, grey stands up and smiles brightly and brings Tim into a hug
"congrats, I can't wait to have another Bradford in business" he says and pulls away, Tim smiles.
"thanks, but there's going to be another two Bradfords" he replies looking at Lucy.

"twins again, gosh" grey replies and Tim and lucy chuckles.
"Oh god no, we are getting married" Tim replies and greys eyes lighten up.
"congrats!!!!" Grey claps and pulls the two younger officers before him into a big hug.

"let's see the ring" grey claps happily and Lucy and Tim smile awkwardly.
"Yeah. Uh I didn't buy a ring..I mean obviously I'm going too, it was just a time in the moment thing" Tim replies and grey smiles.
"Love it!" Grey replies and Lucy smirks
"I filmed it" she replied and Tim frowns

"You did?" He asks looking at Lucy and Lucy nods in reply.
"Don't show anyone until I've seen it" Tim replies
"yes sir" Lucy replies mockingly.

"Anyway why were you guys late?" Grey asks raising his eyebrows.
"We had a moment with the twins"Tim replies nodding his head, grey immediately becomes concerned.
"Are they okay?!" He asks and Tim sighs
"Yeah, yeah, don't worry. They just wanted to ask Lucy if they could call her mom." He replies and grey smiles at Lucy.

"family doesn't have to be blood" grey replies.
"We know" Lucy replies.
"I'm so happy for you guys, I'm so glad you guys found eachother again" grey says.

"Thanks grey" they both say softly.
"Okay you two get out there, Chen your on desk" grey responds and Lucy sighs and crosses her arms.
"Fine" she snaps and walks out, grey and tims eyes widen.
"she said she was fine with it earlier" tim tells grey and grey nods.
"I've had a pregnant partner before Tim, I know." Grey replies and Tim nods.

"Get out there son, if you need anything either you or Lucy you know where I am" grey replies and walks Tim out his office.
"Thanks sarge" he replies
