Iife saver

Laura walks into the room first and Tim's eyes lighten up.
"hey Laura" Tim smiles and Laura walks up to him as Angela walks into the room and kisses him on the lips, Angela rolls her eyes.
"What was that for" Tim smiles and slightly blushes.
"Oh no reason, just missed you and we didn't manage to get to our date" she smiles stroking Tim's arm.

"sorry about that" Tim smiles and pulls Laura down for another kiss
"Daddy ewww" Arlo hits Tim's chest, Angela snorts from the door way.
Laura and Tim pull away and look at Arlo.
"Sorry buddy" Tim laughs.
"disgusting" avalynn shakes her finger at Tim and the adults in the room giggle.

"Hey Ava and Arlo why don't I take you to get food from the cafeteria huh?" Angela asks and the twins eyes lighten up and they nod.
Angela walks over to the bed and lifts them both of it and grabs there hands, she glares at Laura and Tim sees but doesn't comment.
"Thanks angela" Tim says softly.
"your welcome, we wouldn't be too long" Angela says happily and the twins wave at tim.
"Bye daddy" they say cutely and wave.
"Bye my babies" Tim waves back and watches them happily walk off.

"I've got to ask while the kids and Angela's gone..do you and Angela have a problem with eachother?" Tim asks grabbing Laura's hand.
"Nope. We are good" Laura says softly playing with Tim's hair.
"when do you go back to San Francisco?" Tim asks Laura.
"I still have alot of days off..I was also thinking of moving down here..and getting a job in LA?" Laura says and Tim's eyes widen.

"I mean..you could but like it's abit to soon, we haven't even made things official. I haven't even took you on a date?!" Tim says getting panicky.
"Take me on a date then Sargent Bradford" Laura smirked and kissed Tim again and Tim smiled
"Well I will, when I get out of here that is" Tim says rolling his eyes.

Laura's phone started ringing, she showed Tim the caller ID
"Work" she whispered and answered
"this is Laura Robson from cps" she answers and leaves the room.

That's when Lucy came back in with food for Tim and his stuff.
"Life saver" Tim says grabbing the take out bag off Lucy and immediately taking a sip of his coke.
"here's your bag, it just has comfortable clothing in there, with your toiletries. Any word from doctor?" Lucy asks placing Tim's bag on the chair in the corner of the room.

"Thanks Lucy, uhh nope no word yet. They are letting me catch up and talk to everyone first, I think they'll check me over when visiting hours are over" Tim explains eating his fries, Lucy was going to sit and stay but her phone pinged with a message. It was from Ryan. 'Hey babe, my car isn't starting..can you pick me up from work and we can spend the night together?xx' Lucy sighs as she reads it.

"Everything okay?" Tim asks looking at Lucy concreted
"Yep all good, I'm glad you're okay Tim. I've got to go and pick Ryan up from work his car isn't starting" Lucy smiles sadly from the door way.
"okay. See you Lucy..have a good night " Tim waves Lucy away and Lucy leaves.

Laura comes back in "sorry about that, a kid I used to work with has ran away from their foster home" Laura says putting her phone away.
"You can head back and see what's up if you want?" Tim says eating his burger, Laura shakes her head.
"I've handed the case over to another social worker, everything's fine. Where did this food come from?" Laura asks and Tim smiles
"Lucy brought it for me" he shrugs.
"Course she did" Laura mumbles under her breath, quiet enough for Tim not to hear.
"Where's she gone?" Laura clears her throat and Tim swallows his food.
"she's went to pick her boyfriend up from work or something?" Tim replies shrugging awkwardly, Laura sighs in relief.

Tim and Laura sit happily and cozily together until the twins and Angela comes back.
"Hey the twins are starting to get a bit bored..maybe Laura you can take them home?" Angela smiles smugly at Laura.
Laura rolls her eyes at Angela and smiles
"Yeah of course will take them home, come on kids so bye to your dad"Laura says getting up and grabbing the twins stuff.
"Bye daddy" the twins say giving Tim a kiss from the side of the bed.
"Bye my babies, good night I will see you guys tomorrow okay?" Tim says softly stroking each of their heads.

The twins toddle out and Laura follows them and calls them an Uber to get back to Tim's.

"Why couldn't you take them home?" Tim questions finishing the last few bites of his burger.
"I'm not letting that rat sit in my car." Angela grumbles folding her arms.
"don't call her a rat ang." Tim sighs staring at her.
"She's literally got no interest in the twins.
She only wants you" Angela says truthfully, Tim laughs hysterically.
"No she loves them twins, she helped me get full custody of them- she's literally looked after them all week Angela. I don't know what your issue is, I've just got up from being in a coma, I don't want any negativity so if you're going to be like that leave. Please" Tim snaps at Angela, Angela's jaw dropped.

"okay. Bye. Call if you need me" Angela mumbles going to the small closet in the hospital room and getting Tim's phone out of the belongings bag and handing it to him and leaves without saying anything.

Angela walks down the corridor and sees Aaron with a bouquet of flowers and a get well soon card, she raises her brows at Aaron.
"i was going to ask if there's a secret girlfriend your going to visit but..no girl wants you" Angela laughs jokingly.
Aaron laughs too, "actually lots of girls want me I'm just playing hard to get." He replies and Angela shakes her head.

"Where have you been I've hardly spoken to you." Angela asks crossing her arms and raising her brows.
"Oh you know, I've been around" Aaron shrugs and Angela sighs
"Why are you here?" She asks and Aaron shifts awkwardly on his feet.
"To see Tim..I feel like..guilty I guess? That I'm the only person out of the whole station who hasn't spoken to him for forgiven him..so I'm just going to see him for a few mins" Aaron explains and Angela nods.
"Well he's alone right now, his room is down there" Angela says and points to Tim's room and Aaron thanks her and heads down the hallway.
