chen and bradford you two are patrolling together

Tim was much happier and calmer to go to work as he made up with Angela and Lucy, he took the twins to preschool and went to work.

He still hadn't had the chance to explain to anyone else..but he thinks it's non of their business..the only person he needs to make it up to is Aaron- which he was planning on doing after shift.

Tim decided to hang at the back of roll call, he explains to grey that he wasn't very comfortable to stand at the front of roll call and grey understood.

"okay night shift left no open calls so just follow your patrol roots. Bradford is back on patrol today so Chen and Bradford you can ride together today, everyone stay safe dismissed" Grey says, Tim tenses up at the fact he had to work with Lucy..as much as they made up he wasn't ready to sit in the shop with her for hours.

He could hear a few people whisper stuff after grey told them they were together but Tim ignored them, everyone started to leave the room.

"I'll grab the bags" Tim tells Lucy and Lucy nods and heads to the shop.
Tim grabs the bags and heads to she shop where Lucy was in the passenger seat- Tim puts the bags in the trunk and opens the passenger door.

"You can drive" Tim says and Lucy smiles "thanks" she says grabbing the keys off him and walking to the drivers door.
Tim jumps into the passenger side and his phone pings

He picks it up and it was a message from Laura 'hey Tim! Hope you have a great shift, I'm glad everything worked out yesterday xx' Tim smiles at the message and he types out a reply "thanks laura, also does next Tuesday work for you?xx" tim replies
'Yes it does xx' she says and Tim puts his phone away smiling.

Lucy noticed his smile "was that the social worker?" She chuckles, Tim looks at her "how did you know?" He asks
"Because you have a boyish grin on your face"she states pulling out of the station.
"I do not!" He responds
"You so do! You love her don't you?" Lucy asks and Tim tenses..

"Not as much as I loved you" he admits and Lucy's eyes widened and Tim's eyes shut tight
"Shit sorry..I didn't-"Tim stutters
"Look it's okay..let's just forget you said that" Lucy sighs and Tim nods and it was a pretty awkward silence.

They saw someone trying to sell drugs, they pulled over and walked up to the scene
"LAPD" Tim shouts
The person turns around and looks at Tim and Lucy and runs, they both run after the person and manage to grab him.
"You're under arrest for the possession of drugs and selling them" Tim says cuffing the suspect and walking him towards the shop.

"Bradford still has it in the game" Tim says as he pushes the suspect into the shop and getting into the passenger side as Lucy gets into the drivers side.
"Did you have a job in San Francisco?" Lucy asks and she hears Tim sigh
"I did" he admits
"What was it?" She asks him.

"Don't laugh. But mall security" Tim admits and Lucy started laughing
"Hey i said don't laugh" he snaps and Lucy shakes her head " I'm sorry"

They went back to the station and booked the suspect. They headed back onto patrol for about They were driving around the streets for a while and it was awkward, Lucy decided to break the silence " hey I know you have twins but I don't actually know what they look like" Lucy says and Tim snaps his head to her shocked that she's speaking to him.

"Uh- I'll show you a photo" he says getting his phone out and showing Lucy a picture of the twins.
"Oh my gosh they are adorable, they look exactly like you" Lucy says looking at the photo
"They are cute aren't they, they are amazing kids..Lucy I have won the lottery with them" Tim says as a proud father would, Lucy just smiles..she is sort of sad because her and Tim had all this planned until he ruined it all.

They were then again sat in another awkward silence, each of them hoping for the radio to go off.

"7-Adam-100, active robbery at 102 wilshire boulevard" the radio crackled and both Lucy and Tim sighed in relief
"7-Adam-100 control responding" Tim says into the radio.

The drive there was quiet and slow but they got there. They got out the shop and Tim pulled out his radio "this is 7-Adam-100 we arrived at 102 wilshire boulevard, code 6 going in" he says and puts his radio back into his belt.

Both Tim and Lucy withdraw their guns and Tim whispers "you go through back I go through front" Lucy nods
"Should we call for backup?" She asks and Tim shakes his head no "we should be fine" he says, he wants to prove him self to everyone.

They head into the house with their guns pointed in front of them..slowly clearing the house..he didn't hear Lucy clear the last room.

"Chen A to B where are you?" He says through the radio, she doesnt reply..so he goes into the last room she checked to find the suspect pointing a gun at her.

"Okay sir put the gun down.."Tim says pointing his gun at the suspect.
The man ignored him and he pressed the trigger towards Lucy..Tim's eyes widened and he forgot about everything for a second..he leaped forward and pushed Lucy out the way..
