the ultimatum

twins arrival

Tim buys him self a new truck, and he starts sorting out the kids rooms.

He had two spare rooms in his house as one of them was a home gym and the other room as a storage room, Tim cleared them both and did a lot of trips to the garbage dump to get rid of a lot of stuff.

He was about to go shopping for the decorating materials but he decided it was probably going to be better if the twins chose what colour they wanted.. so they could feel more comfortable..so he bought them each a bed with a white frame and dressers..he was planning on taking them on a big shopping spree when they arrive on Monday.

He eventually builds the beds himself, after a lot of stress and messing up..he nearly asked John to come around a few times but he knows he doesn't deserve anyone's help.

He built all the kids furniture and set them up in the white basic rooms, he was getting excited to take them shopping on Monday..usually he hates shopping but this time he'll be spoiling his babies and he's excited.

He orders in and watches the game and heads to bed, he also speaks to grey to tell grey not to tell anyone he is returning to work.

Lucy, Angela, Ryan, Wesley, nyla, Celina, John, Aaron were happily sitting on the table having a few drinks and everyone was getting to know Ryan.
"I like you I think you're good for Lucy " Angela smirks pointing at Ryan.
"I'm pleased you do.." Ryan says wrapping his arm around Lucy.
Lucy was happy, the happiest she's been in a while, they all have a good night out.

It was Monday and the twins were coming any minute now, Tim was pacing up and down the living room waiting for them to come.

Finally the door knocked and he ran over and answered it "DADDY!!" The twins shouted and jumped into Tim's arms Tim started crying "hi my babies"he says hugging them tight.

He stands up and wipes his eyes and looks at Laura who was smiling "hey Laura" Tim says
"hey, we headed to Ashley's and got some more of their things, like clothes and toys and books etc, everything is in the trunk of the car" Laura says nodding towards her car.

"Hey let me help you, did you seriously drive five hours to get here?" Tim asks the social worker approaching her car to get the twins stuff out.
Laura chuckles "yeah we did, but the twins slept the whole way there." Laura says helping Tim pull out suitcases and boxes bring them into the house.
"Have you got their rooms sorted?" Laura asks and Tim drops the box on the counter
"Nope I was planning on taking them shopping today, I don't think it would be fair if I decorated for them, I want them to feel comfortable" Tim explains and Laura nods in understanding.

"Okay well I think you are going to rock at this! I've seen you've got your job back so that's bonus..you need to enrol the kids into preschool..get them set up with doctors and stuff" Laura says and Tim nods
"yeah I know, so is this everything?" Tim asks and Laura shakes her head
"Car seats in the back but other than that we are done" Laura says running out quickly to grab the car seats, the twins were playing chase in the garden.

"That's everything" she says putting the car seats on the floor
"Great well thanks Laura" he smiles
"Call me if you need anything, you have my number" she says walking out the house and saying bye to the twins.

"Arlo and avalynn why don't we go shopping so we can paint your rooms?" Tim asks grabbing the car seats and trying to get them into the car.

"We get to choose any colour?" Avalynn asks clapping
"Yes you guys do" Tim agrees smiling, he couldn't manage to fasten the car seats in..he doesn't realise how alone he is until now..if he hadn't of fell out with everyone he would be on the phone to Angela right now asking how to do it.

After a good twenty minutes tim managed to get their car seats in and he sits the twins in and straps them in, he gets into the driving side and drives to the mall. They were all having a fun chatter and laugh in the car.

They get to the mall and Tim helps each twin out at a time and grabs each of their hand.
The first store they go into is target- he grabs a shopping cart and straps the twins in each seat in the cart.

Tim heads straight to the paint aisle "okay guys what colour do you want?" Tim asks softly pushing the cart down the aisle.
"Out!" Arlo says putting g his arms up, Tim lifts him and avalynn out for them to choose a colour.

"I want Pink, pretty pink! Princess pink"avalynn says skipping to Tim.
Tim smiles and picks up a tin of pink paint.
"I want a yellow!" Arlo claps and Tim agrees and picks up a tin of yellow.

They were shopping for a good few hours, shopping for bedroom stuff, food, toiletries, toys, teddy bears, a new wardrobe for each of them..by the end they were all exhausted. Tim put all the shopping into the back of his trunk and he straps the kids into their car seats.

He drives home, by the time he was home the twins fell asleep in the drive home, he carries them both into the house and lays them down on the sofa with a blanket and he turns the tv on with cartoons.

Then he gets all the stuff out the truck on his own..he really needed help but he didn't know who to ask.
