they come back to LA

It was lunch, Angela was just about to leave the station for her lunch break until she got the idea to just call the rest of the day off to spend time with Lucy. She goes to Greys office and smiles
"Hey Lopez come in" he says.

"hey Sarg." She smiles
"I was meant to contact you. Is Bradford and your husband back yet?" He asks knowing he's short on officers that day.
"Ahhh..about that. They aren't. They got declined access on boarding the plane" Angela winces and grey frowns.

"do we need to bail them out of jail or airport police?" He sighs and Angela chuckles and shakes her head.
"Wesley would have been able to buy their way out. But no. Tim was the one who got declined access actually." She chuckles.

"what's he done" Grey freezes and rolls his eyes.
"He was drunk..wasted moping about Ashley saying no. He couldn't stand straight. Or walk or keep his eyes open, he then ended up puking all over the airport floor. So they got declined access to the plane and they went to the closet to the hotel" Angela explains.

"what is he playing at" he rolls his eyes.
"Tell me about it. I mean, whatever goes around comes around right? My husband said he's woke up with a killer hangover" Angela laughs.
"he's an idiot. Anyway. You came in here for a reason?" He asked.

"Oh yeah. Can I take the rest of the day off?" She asks smiling.
"Angela you've took off too many days off and we are short today" Grey sighs.
"I'm going to see Lucy." She replies crossing her arms.
"since it's for Lucy, it's approved." He says and Angela smiles.

"Thanks Sarge your the best" she skips to the office door.
"I know I am. When you see Bradford later knock some sense into him." Grey shakes his head.
"I'm not just knocking sense into him Sarge. He will be in a hospital bed once he's dealt with me" she smirks.

"If that's a threat Detective Lopez, there will be pending investigations on you."grey smirks.
"I'm allowed I'm his bff. Bye Sarge have a good day" she says skipping away to collect her stuff.

Lucy was sat watching tv, the same thing she has done since she got home the day before. Then suddenly she the door opened and shut she thought it was Tim, so she smiles and turns around until she saw Angela, she sighs in disappointment and sits back down.

"Wow. Disappointed to see me?" Angela frowns.
"No. Thought you were Tim." She sighs.
"oh I'm sorry I'm not a 6'1, tall, buff, idiot" she rolls her eyes and takes a seat next to Lucy on the couch.

"I didn't even invite you in. And the invention of knocking disappears? And you just let your self in, make yourself at home ?" Lucy questions and Angela shrugs.
"Yes. I just walked into your home. It saves you walking to your door to get them poor little ankles swollen. So if you think about it I'm looking out for you" Angela smirks and winks, Lucy scoffs.
"Haha" she laughs sarcastically.

"Oh cheer up Lucy." Angela sighs laying down across the sofa and placing her legs over Lucy.
"I told Tim about being in hospital" she says placing her hands on Angela's legs.
"what did he say?" She asks frowning seriously.
"well. He threw up after I told him, then he became serious. and he was shocked then concerned. Then he apologised. Then yeah" she shrugs.
"Telling him was better than lying. And gosh he seriously stayed on the phone throwing up?" Angela laughed.

"ew yes he did. It made me feel like I was going to throw up my self."she laughs shaking his head.
"When do they get back?" Angela asks and Lucy shrugs.
"They've boarded their flight so they should be back with in the next few hours. And get your feet off me I'm the pregnant one who needs special treatment, not you " Lucy laughs pushing Angela's legs off Lucy.

"About that.."Angela smirked and Lucy snapped her head to Angela and Angela started laughing
"I'm kidding don't loose your hair." She laughed.

"Mhm?" Lucy smirked.
"No, god no! Jack is enough. Anyway what are we doing here? Why don't we go out for food get your lazy ass out this house" Angela jumps up happily.
"Lazy ass?! You and Grey have me stuck in here?!" Lucy snaps standing up and putting her shoes on Angela just smirks.

They head out and grab burgers and then they decide to check the kids out of school early. They collect the kids and take them back to Angela's.

Jack avalynn and arlo play outside at the front of the house and Angela and lucy sit on the poarch watching them, they were all waiting for Tim and Wesley to pull up.

The twins were playing with the football and Jack was doing his own little thing, avalynn snatched the ball off Arlo
"MINE!" Arlo cries trying to snatch it back.
"No!" Avalynn shakes her head and turns away with the ball.

Lucy sighs "kids share the ball! Sharing is caring remember?" She shouts and the twins ignored her, Arlo pulls avalynns hair and it makes her fall to the floor and drop the ball and start crying.

"Oh my god." Lucy groans standing up and running over and picking avalynn up and putting her on her hip.
"Hey sweetie it's okay" Lucy kisses Ava's cheek and strokes the back of her hair.
Avalynn sniffles and lays her head on Lucy's shoulder and cries more.
"I want daddy" she cries.

"I know babe, he will be back soon I promise" Lucy says softly then looks at Arlo.
"Arlo James, say sorry to your sister" Lucy says and Arlo frowns and sighs "sorry Ava" he mumbles.
"Thank you." Lucy says ruffling Arlos hair.

"Okay he's said sorry sweetie, give him a hug and get back to playing yeah?" Lucy says softly and avalynn shakes her head.
"Stay with you" she replies and Lucy sighs softly and nods.
"Come on then honey" she says and walks over to the porch where Angela was.

"They never act out like this. I don't know what's going on" Lucy frowns, Avalynn was sitting on Lucy's knees and hugging her.
"Maybe they just miss their dad, it's nothing against you. And besides, Lucy they are toddlers, they are going to act out if you like it or not." Angela says smiling at Avalynn.
They carry on watching Jack and Arlo play nicely together.

Suddenly a cab pulled up to the driveway and Wesley and a very ill looking Tim get out the car.
"He looks rough" Angela chuckles as Lucy picks avalynn up to her hip and the three of them walk over to them.

"Look Arlo your daddy's here" Lucy shouts to Arlo who was still with Jack to preoccupied playing football, the two toddlers turn around and run to their dads.
Avalynn was asleep against Lucy's shoulder, Lucy walks over to Tim who was hugging Arlo.

"Hey babe" Lucy smiles and Tim look up from Arlo and smiles.
"Hey baby" he mumbles bringing Lucy into a hug and a kiss.
"I see my little princess fell asleep" Tim comments taking avalynn out of Lucy's arms and putting her on his hip, then picking Arlo back up and putting him on his other hip.
"They got into a little bit of a fight, Arlo pulled avalynns hair because she snatched the ball off him. " Lucy tells Tim.

"Daddy Ava was mean" Arlo frowns.
Tim laughs and kisses his head "but I hear you hurt her buddie?" He asks and Arlo doesn't answer which gave Tim the indication that he did.
"I've already dealt with it" Lucy says softly.

"Thanks babe. Okay, let's head home. Ava's tired, I feel like I've been ran over by a bus and Arlo needs food so let's go" he says.

Lucy gets into her car that was in Angela's drive way and gets the twins into their car seats.
Tim and Lucy now approach Jack Wesley and Angela.

"Thanks for keeping my fiancé alive, and thanks for seeing Ashley with him" Lucy says to Wesley softly, Wesley shakes his head
"it's not a issue Lucy, anything you need come to us okay? Don't hesitate" he says back.

"He's right, day or night call us if you need anything. And Tim. You aren't getting away with your drinking spree. Once your cured with your hang over you have to deal with me" Angela smirks at Tim who was pale and his under eyes where dark.
"yes ma'am" he rolls his eyes.
"And Tim remember you also owe us babysitting" Wesley winks and the four adults chuckle.

"Okay you guys set off, I will see you Timothy at work tomorrow, and Lucy I will call you later" Angela says kneeling down to pick her son up.
"Once again thanks for everything. I will see you soon" she says and walks off to get into the driving seat, Tim turns to follow her until he hears Wesley whisper loudly.
"Buy that ring!!" He snaps.
