"How did this morning go?" Lucy asks as Tim and her get into Tim's truck to grab the twins, Tim ended up going to work after his appointment but he didn't see Lucy much as he was stuck on patrol and she was on desk.

"Alright." He shrugs and Lucy sighs softly
"Do you think it's going to work?" She asks and Tim was about to turn on the truck but he doesn't, he glances at Lucy.
"I do. I actually do" he admits and Lucy smiles.
"Great. I'm happy for you" she says grabbing his hand and squeezing it then letting go so Tim could turn on his truck..

They grab the twins and head home, and have a family night in.

The next morning Tim and Lucy both had the morning off for their ultrasound appointment, they were sat in the clinic waiting room holding hands.

"Lucy Chen?" A nurse came in and shouted, Lucy and Tim nodded and god up and followed her into the room.
"I hear we had a bit of an incident a few weeks ago?" She asks getting paperwork and files up. Lucy sighs and nods "I collapsed because of dehydration and stress." She admits and glances at Tim and back at the nurse.

"Okay. Well you haven't had any issues since?? " she asks and Lucy and Tim shake their heads.
"Nope been stress free, that big goof ball has me wrapped in bubble wrap" Lucy chuckles and the nurse smiles "I am glad you have a support system, so is this the baby daddy?" The nurse asks realising she's never met Tim.

"Yes I am. Tim Bradford" Tim introduces himself and the nurse smirks and Lucy and Tim frowns at her.
"Oh sorry. Angela Lopez seemed to rant about you a lot." The nurse chuckles and Tim squeezes his eyes shut and lets out a little laugh.
"You were her.." Tim trails off and the nurse laughs and nods.
"Yes. I was, and you're the six foot idiot best friend who needed to get his head out of his ass and stop dating that barbie bimbo" the nurse laughs, Tim smiles awkwardly..this nurse only knows things from four years ago..

"yeah. Well my head is definitely out of my ass now...let's see our baby?" Tim asks awkwardly and the nurse smiles and nods.
"Of course" the nurse says grabbing the machine and gestures Lucy to pull her shirt up.

She puts gel over the stomach and moves the machine around, a clear image of a baby came up on the screen, the nurse checked a few things while Tim and Lucy were admiring the screen.
"That's our baby" Tim whispers with tears in his eyes.
"It is" Lucy replies just as emotionally.

"your baby is measuring a bit bigger, but that's expected as your having a baby with a muscly tall man. Everything seems normal, want to listen to the heart beat?" She asks and the couple nods.
A mini heart beat vibrated through the room..Tim's chest and heart was going to explode..he was in awe.

He glances at Lucy who was also in awe and had a huge smile on her face.
"This is perfect" he mutters grabbing Lucy's hand and interlacing it with his and pecking their hands.

"Would you like some ultrasound photos?" The nurse asks regretfully ruining the couples moment.
"Yes please" they reply.

The appointment was wrapped up, they took Lucy's weight and blood pressure, they went over how Lucy has been taking care of her self, they weee also seeing how her symptoms were.

Her next appointment was to find out the gender of the baby. Both tim and Lucy walked out with huge smiles plastered on their faces.

They walk towards Tim's truck and Tim stops her before they get in, he grabs her wrist and turns her around to face him, he looks at her in her brown hazel eyes and smiles softly and leans down to kiss her. Lucy leans into the kiss and wraps her arms around his neck, they passionately kiss for a few seconds before Lucy pulls away and Tim had a little grin plastered on his face.

"I love you" he mutters and Lucy softens and pecks his lips again
"I love you more" she says back and pulls away to get into the truck.

They arrive to the station and they both get out the truck hand in hand.
"Now I'm out the woods for miscarriages, and everything is fine will you and grey let me back on the streets?" Lucy asks and Tim sighs softly.
"easy calls Lucy. No dangerous ones" Tim says and Lucy rolls her eyes, but atleast she can still be back on the streets of LA even if its just writing tickets.

"Fine fine." She smiles.
