the ultimatum

anyone for tim bradford?

"anyone for Tim Bradford?" He asks..it's only been 3 and a half hours..?Lucy thought and  smiles politely and walks over..
"Is he okay?" She asks.

"Let's sit" the doctor says softly, and Lucy panics and squeezes her eyes shut tight.
"no you can tell me now and right here"she says sternly.

"okay. well..we've had to put mr Bradford into an induced coma.."the doctor says slowly. Lucy gasps and covers her mouth and steps back "oh my god.." she whispers

"we didn't have a choice to do it..his body had a significant amount of blood loss and he coded on the table..we barely got him back..the blood we were giving him he was rejecting..his body is extremely weak and has gone through some trauma and damage" the doctor explains slowly and waits for Lucy to show that she understands, Lucy's hands start shaking.

"Oh my gosh..oh my gosh..is he going to be okay? Did you get the bullet out?" Lucy bombards the doctor with questions as tears fill her eyes...that should be her
"yes we successfully got the bullet out.. and it's common knowledge that there is a slight chance people won't come out of comas.."the doctor answers sadly shutting his file.

"How long is he down for..in a coma I mean?" She asks nervously.
"well we are going to monitor him every day to see if his body does increase in strength..we are hoping maybe a week tops then we will get him out of the coma?" The doctor says and Lucy's head falls back in stress as tears fall down her face.
"He's got kids..they need him more than ever right now..how long will he be out of work? And on bedrest?" Lucy snaps and asks.

"we aren't sure at this moment of time, we will have to see when we take him out of his coma to see where his physical health and mental health state is "the doctor says.
"where is he now?" She asks nervously.
"In the recovery ward, we are going to transport him to the intensive care unit in about an hour" the doctor says and Lucy nods.
"do you have any more questions?" He asks and Lucy shakes her head completely speechless "okay. Well, page dr colin if you need anything- that's me. I'm so sorry" he says and walks off.

Lucy walks over to a seat..she felt sick to the stomach, she should be in that position, Tim should be at home cuddling his babies.

she grabs her phone and walks out side the hospital and dials Angela.

Wesley and Angela walked into Tim's and the twins immediately ran into the house "slow down you'll fall kiddos!" Wesley shouts through the house.
"Okay nice man wesley" arlo says and sitting on the sofa, avalynn sitting next to him. Angela and Wesley smile at eachother.
"Tims house is so much different to when I was last here" Angela says looking around
"It's because he's now got kids, kids change everything" Wesley chuckles walking into the kitchen with Angela on his trail.

"what do you guys want for dinner huh?" Angela shouted through to the children.
"Nuggets" arlo shouts through and Angela laughs
"what is it with kids and nuggets huh? It's literally all they  want" Angela says and Wesley agrees.

She makes them and her self and Wesley some food, her and Wesley  cleans up Tim's house abit then they sit down with the twins to watch a movie.
"I want daddy" Avalynn says her eyes starting to fill with tears, Angela and Wesley look at eachother softly and sigh.
"he's in hospital sweetie.. doctors are looking after him I promise" Angela promises.

Avalynn started to cry and Angela picked her up and sat her on her leg and calmed her down and rubbed her back "I want daddy" she sobs
"I know I know, shhh shhh" Angela says soothing her back, avalynn fell asleep on Angela.

Suddenly the door knocked, Angela looked at Wesley "will you get it please?" She asks and Wesley gets up and nods- arlo follows on his trail.
Wesley opens the door "LAURA!!" arlo shouts jumping to her for a hug.
"hey arlo, hi wesley" she says.

"hey..your here early?" Wesley says and Laura nods
"Paid 100$ extra to get the earlier flight" she tells them and walks through the house.

Angela softly places avalynn on the sofa and she stands up to greet her self to Laura.
"hey you must be Laura, I'm Angela Lopez, Wesley's wife"she says.
"nice to meet you, thanks for watching the kids until I came" she thanks them.
"Of course, avalynn is asleep on the couch..she's abit unsettled she wants tim" Angela states.

They talk for a bit then Angela phone starts to call..
"It's Lucy..I think it's about tim" Angela says answering.
"Angela.."Lucy says sadly and Angela shut her eyes knowing this isn't good, she looks to see where arlo was and the twins where now both asleep so Angela put the phone on speaker for Wesley and Laura to listen in.

"is he okay Lucy? What's going on?" Angela asks.
