Lucy and Tim walked towards the parking garage in silence until they approached Tim's truck.
"Keys" Lucy says putting her hand out.
"Lucy..I really don't need to, if I feel like shit I'll go tomorrow." Tim sighs Lucy glares at him and Tim rolls his eyes and hands her his truck keys.
"Look if you didn't need to go to hospital, why are you limping and sighing and groaning in pain huh?" Lucy raises her eyebrow. Tim shrugs, and doesnt reply and jumps into the passenger seat of his truck.
Lucy gets into the drivers side and readjusts the seat height.
"What are you doing?" Tim asks looking at Lucy.
"It's not my fault you're so tall" Lucy says dryly then proceeds to turn the truck on.
They drove for a few minutes in silence until Tim sighs "are you okay?" He asks.
Lucy shrugs "I thought Ryan was it for me, but I suppose that's wrong. Like when I thought you were also it for me then you abandoned me for an ex girlfriend and your kids without explanation. I mean, my mom is right- I'm not good enough huh.? Why should I keep trying.-" Lucy rambles her eyes becoming glossy, Tim sighs and shakes his head and cuts her off.
"look.im awfully sorry I left you like that. It wad a shitty person move, but Lucy don't ever say that about your self- Lucy your literally incredible..beautiful and perfect..you deserve a man who treats you better than anyone, you deserve someone better than me and Ryan..Lucy don't ever say that about your self..please.." Tim says softly and Lucy glances at him, she really needed to hear that..especially from tim.
She sniffles and nods and whispers a quiet thanks.
"Lucy pull over.." Tim says and Lucy frowns and Tim repeats his command "pull over Lucy" he says.
Lucy pulls over on the side of the highway.
"Look, I'm not going to hospital" Tim says.
"Yes you are Timothy." Lucy snaps and starts the truck again, Tim grabs Lucy's hand and pulls it away from the keys.
"No im not, I'll have to explain to a doctor what happened, then I'll get investigated..I can't risk loosing my babies again luce..or ruining my life again." Tim says and Lucy sighs.
"Can you atleast get checked out by Bailey then?" She asks and Tim nods "fine." He says
Lucy pulls out her phone and selects Bailey's contact.
"Hey Lucy is John okay?" Bailey asks because of Lucy's unexpected call.
"oh yeah he's fine, are you busy right now?" Lucy asks glancing at Tim who was now leaning back on the seat with his eyes shut.
"I've just finished a call, why what's up?" She asks and Lucy sighs.
"Tim's refusing to get checked up on, and he's hurt, so I was hoping if you could.." Lucy trails off.
"Oh yeah of course, just send your location and I'll be there in a few" Bailey replies happily and hangs up, Lucy sends through her location and waits for them.
"you broke up with Laura? When? Why didn't I know?" Lucy asks Tim, recalling the conversation they had in the station.
"few weeks ago. I just kicked her out, she made everything about her..she didn't care about the twins. And I just want to focus on me and the twins so.." Tim explains with his eyes still shut.
"I'm sorry" Lucy replies and Tim breathes out a laugh.
"Don't be, honestly these past few weeks with her gone has been the most smooth railing my life has ever been in I don't know how long" he explains happily.
"well my life has just been fucked up today" Lucy replies sadly and Tim sighs.
"I'm sorry..like I really am luce. I was happy for you that you found love again..I want to kill that bastard! I actually will you know Lucy, just wait" Tim snaps angrily.
"Tim remember, you can't get into any shit that can get you in trouble. You have two little toddlers to look out for, their lives depend on you Tim" Lucy reminds Tim and Tim sighs.
"I know. I just got ahead of my self.." he sighs.
"oh my gosh" Lucy gasps and covers her mouth and looks at Tim wide eyed.
"What?!" Tim asks and Lucy covers her face, and starts crying again.
"They fucking been matching genitals in my apartment! What the actual fuck! I cannot go back there tonight, I actually feel ill Tim! Sick to the stomach" Lucy says panicky and Tim sighs.
"Come back with me and the kids" he offers and Lucy wipes a tear and immediately declines, but before Tim could ask why Bailey pulled up and came to the passenger side of Tim's truck to check on Tim.
"Bradford can't keep out of trouble can you?" Bailey chuckles as he opens the door for Tim to walk him to the ambulance.
"nope, seems like he's a magnet to trouble" Lucy replies wiping her eyes.
Tim sits in the ambulance and Bailey does a basic checkup on him.
"Everything seems fine..your wound is still healing and it's going to take a while..so I'll patch that up and give you some pain meds" Bailey says grabbing bandages and some medication.
"Thanks Bailey" Tim thanks her and Bailey waves him off.
"Hey it's fine, it's my job. Did you hit your head at all going down?" She asks and Tim shrugs.
"Don't know" he replies.
"Okay if you experience any concussion symptoms please go straight to the ER Tim, and don't be your stubborn self and claim you're fine, if you need to go just go" Bailey demands and Tim nods
"Thanks Bailey" he says as he takes some medication and gets out the ambulance back to his truck where Lucy was sobbing about Ryan.
Lucy wipes her eyes and looks at Tim "everything's okay?" She asks with a shaky voice.
"Yeah. Told you. Now turn around back to the station" Tim says and they drive back to the station.

They arrive at the station and Lucy changes out as Tim walks back to the twins.
"Daddy!" They scream happily running up to Tim's legs and hugging him.
Aaron was approaching up behind them, Tim looked up.
"Were they okay?" Tim asks and Aaron smiles brightly.
"Yeah they were angels, Tim they are great kids" aaron says smiling down at the Bradford twins.
"Thanks for keeping an eye on them. Do you know where Lopez is?" Tim asks and Aaron was about to reply but then Angela came up to them.
"I take it everything is fine?" She asks and Tim nods.
"Yeah, everything is great. Uhh can Lucy stay at yours tonight..it's not a good idea for her to go home" Tim asks and Angela sighs.
"Jacks came down with the sickness virus, I don't think it'll be a good idea if she did. Maybe she can stay at yours, plus you guys have party planning to do" Angela smirks and Tim sighs and nods.
"I'll ask her again." He says and Aaron and Angela walk away. Lucy walks out of the locker room and Tim approaches her.
"Hey Lucy come on your coming home with me, I'm not taking no as an answer. The. Twins love you don't you guys?" Tim asks the twins and they smile brightly.
"Yes! Please come miss Lucy!" Arlo begs and so does Avalynn, Lucy sighs and agrees.
"Fine." She says softly and they head back to Tim's.
