the ultimatum

TIM STOP

"LAURA?!" Tim shouts
"oh Tim- I.." laura stutters. Tim drops the boxes in his hands and storms over to Ryan and punches him to the ground.

"TIM STOP!" Laura shouts as her eyes become glossy, Tim ignores her.
Ryan started to punch Tim back, and he flipped them over and punched Tim a few times in the stomach and in the face.

Laura pulled Ryan off Tim, Tim was in pain- of course Ryan punched Tim where he got shot.
"Argh" Tim groans in pain.

Tim slowly gets up, he felt unsteady, he held down on his lower abdomen in pain.
"your not getting away with this Ryan! You're a fucking dick head! I swear to fucking god. I'm telling Lucy, and Laura you're a whore!!"Tim snaps through gritted teeth.

Ryan goes up to Tim "you won't tell Lucy anything or I'll have your badge" Ryan says and Tim shakes his head, he'll deal with this later. He was in agony right now to even do anything. He just limps off and picks up a few boxes and limps to his truck.

He gets into his truck and drives to the day care, collects the twins, Tim hardly looked at them as he knows he probably has a few bruises on his face..he didn't want them to worry about their daddy.
He tries to breathe through the pain and act as normal as he could.

He was about to drive home, but he couldn't hide this from Lucy, he's been lying to her enough. He needs to be loyal even though this is a shitty conversation he has to have. He turns the truck around to go to the station.

"Where we going daddy?" Avalynn asks and Tim sighs in pain
"Daddy's work" Tim replies softly, the twins cheered as they both loved going to the station to see Tim's friends.

They arrived and Tim helped them out the truck, Tim held each of their hands and limped into the station.

Lucy was sat at Angela's desk with Angela as Tim approached them.
"MISS LUCY AND ANGELA!" The twins cheered as they ran up to them. Lucy and Angela hugged them and greeted them then turned to Tim. They saw him hunched over in pain holding onto a desk.

"Woah..Tim are you okay..?" Lucy says walking up to him, Tim doesn't reply.
"hey uhh Aaron can you take the mini bradfords to the break room?" Angela shouts over to Aaron who was walking across the station.

Aaron agrees once he sees Tim's state, and walks off with the twins happily.
Now Angela and Lucy were walking Tim over to a chair.

Tim groaned "fuck" he mumbles and looks at them both, he had a bruise coming up on his eye.
"What on earth has happened Tim?" Lucy snaps.

"I can't-" Tim shakes his head and covers his face.
"It was Ryan wasn't it?! He hurt you!" Lucy snaps frustratedly, she was about walk off until Tim grabs her wrist.
"No. I started it Lucy..just sit down please..Angela sit with her" Tim pleads, Angela drags two chairs over and the two woman sat in them.

"Okay..what's going on?" Angela asks and Tim moves his position and groans in pain.
"I punched him.. I went for him. Because he was in bed with Laura." Tim explains and Lucy's eyes widened and her chest tightened..he covered her mouth and shook her head.
"Oh my god" she whispers.

"I am so sorry.." angela whispers to them both.
"It doesn't affect me much as I broke up with Laura a few weeks ago..but I assumed she went back to San Francisco..but I didn't expect this..Lucy I am so fucking sorry..you deserve so much b better" Tim says softly in pain.
Lucy shakes her head and puts her head in her hands and sobs.

Angela pulls Lucy into a hug, Tim sighs softly. After a few minutes Lucy sat up and wiped her eyes.
"come on" Lucy sniffles standing up.
Tim frowns "huh" he asks.
"You're going to hospital" Lucy says grabbing Tim's hand with watery eyes.
"I'm fine" Tim mumbles
"No you're not, don't push it Tim..come on hospital. Angela do you mind keeping an eye on the twins"
"Yeah of course, do what ever you have to do" Angela waves them off and heads to the break room.
