Stop being secretive

"Dont tell Lucy..but Tim's in trouble- Wesley's in San Francisco being his lawyer.."

Aaron's mouth opened wide in shock "WHAT?!!" He shouts shocked
"shhh!! Don't tell Lucy" Angela tells Aaron and out of no where Lucy comes up
"Don't tell Lucy what." She crosses her arms
Looking between the two.

"uhh nothing, you two go on patrol- I've got to go and finish my case" Angela says attempting to walk off, Lucy grabs Angela's arm and Aaron's and drags them into a interrogation room.

"I've called us all on personals. And we are not leaving this room until you tell me what the fuck is going on- just stop being fucking secretive!!" Lucy snaps at them aggressively.

"Lucy I don't think it's a good thing for you to know.." Aaron says trying to calm her down
"officer thorsen, detective Lopez. Tell. Me. What's. Going. On!!" Lucy demands- Angela takes a deep breath and stands infront of Lucy and looks at her in the eye and holds her shoulders.

"Tim's been arrested-" Angela starts and Lucy cuts in
"WHAT IS HE OKAY?!" She shouts panicked and scared..she still fucking loves Tim to bits but she knows soon enough she'll have to get over him.
"yeah..Ashley's set him up- obviously they have twins..Ashley's been abusing them and it got too far..she pushed avalynn into a wall and she got knocked unconscious..Tim whitenesses it..Ashley told everyone it had been Tim abusing them, he got arrested so Wesley's his lawyer" Angela explains calmly hoping it'll keep Lucy calm.

"oh my god that cow!! As much as I hate him so fucking much for breaking me..I seriously hope everything works out for him.." Lucy sighs pulling away from Angela and loosing eye contact.
"I don't care how much he has been through Lucy, when I fucking see him I'm murdering him" Aaron says walking closer.

"I hate him..but love him- I can't forgive him for what he's done..he's seriously hurt me mentally..argh just as I was getting back up there his name gets brought back up" Lucy huffs and Aaron's and Angela's eyebrows raise
"You asked?! So we told you?!" Angela snaps confused
"Right..right sorry- thanks-thanks for telling me" Lucy says looking down at her feet.
"yeah" Angela sighs.

"Was he seeing Ashley.." Lucy asks quietly..Angela shuts her eyes tight and goes up to Lucy again and holds her hand.
"yeah.." Angela nods
"Knew it. I wasn't good enough for him. Look great! It's fine. He's moved on and ruined his life as well as mine, I'm not going to waste any more time on him. I'm going on a date with Ryan. I want absolutely nothing to do with Tim." Lucy says and walks out the room and both Aaron and Angela stare at eachother.

"Good luck on patrol with her buddy" Angela says patting Aaron's back and walking out the room, Aaron on her trail.

Lucy and Aaron went on patrol and Lucy arranged a date with Ryan for the next night.

Wesley came back with a police officer to interview Ashley while the doctors were examining the twins.

It was just Ashley inside of the room with the police officer and Wesley was outside.
"okay this is officer Carr interviewing Ashley McGrady..okay miss mcgrady can you tell me what happened last night" the officer says into the recorder.

"Tim was making food, the twins were messing around and they started arguing, so he stormed in and started shouting at arlo, avalynn stood up for arlo and said 'dont hit arlo' and Tim got mad and pushed her into the wall and knocked her out..I ran over told him to call an ambulance so he did..paramedics came and he was ashamed to get into the ambulance with avalynn so I did..and that's when I came forward about my domestic abuse situation.." Ashley explains pretending to cry..

"I am so sorry ma'am.. so how does mr Bradford abuse you and the kids?" He asks
"he manipulates us..he punches us and kicks us..he calls us names and destroys us..we were doing so much better before he came- he just came in and invaded my life and started abusing us all..he makes me want to die some days I am so scared of him" Ashley says wiping her fake tears, the officer gives her a sympathetic look.

"I am so sorry..I really am ma'am..hey you're so brave for coming forward..that's all the questions I need for now but it has came to my concern that Tim's and the kids story doesn't match yours.." the officer states looking at a file
"Tim manipulated them..why would I lie about being abused.." she says sobbing..

"okay a will get you a lawyer to fight your side.." the officer says and gives Ashley a tissue
"Thank you officer.."she sniffles, the officer leaves the room and Ashley smirks.

The doctor takes both twins into a different hospital room, she does a basic height and weight check..they were underweight for their age..she then checked all over their bodies..and they had different types of injuries.

The doctor sighed they are kids and clumsy..maybe some of them are just from playing around.. she thought, she took a few photos of the injuries.

She did more checks and took them back to Ashley.  Just as she was leaving the room Wesley pulled her.

"Hey how were they?" He asks concerned
"There is a few bruises and cuts and they are underweight but there isn't enough for evidence to be honest- they could just be injuries from playing as they are little kids"she explains, Wesley sighed "thanks doc" he says and she hands him the photos and walks off.
