Lucy got up before anyone else, she turned to her side to see if avalynn was okay.
She was snoring softly, Lucy stroked her bright blonde hair and sighs. Lucy had been up most of the night making sure Avalynn was okay.

Lucy got up and yawned and stretched and make her way into the kitchen to start the coffee machine, she grabs two mugs out. One for her and one for Tim because she figures he should be awake soon. She is still surprised that everything is still where it was back when they were together.

Just as she was pouring creamer into her coffee Tim walks into the kitchen.
"Morning sleepy head" Lucy says pushing a mug of black coffee In front of him.
"Thanks. You look tired..did you sleep well? " Tim comments and Lucy leans against the counter and sips her coffee, sighing in relief when the warm liquid hits her mouth.
"oh thanks. You saying I look a mess?" Lucy laughs and Tim shifts on his feet awkwardly
"What..- no? You're beautiful- I mean-" Tim stutters awkwardly and Lucy smirks into her mug.

"I'm fine Tim, but avalynn has been up throwing up all night. I've been up with her cleaning her and soothing her" Lucy explains and Tim's eyes widen.
"Why didn't you get me up? Im her dad..she's my responsibility" Tim asks and Lucy shrugs.
"You needed some rest Tim, time to your self. Plus it's no biggie honestly. I made a bed for me and her on the floor in the living room, she's sound asleep now" Lucy explains and Tim sighs.

"But you'll get sick-" he says and Lucy cuts him off "it's okay Tim, she can't help being poorly. Honestly Tim It's okay" Lucy stops him and Tim sighs
"fuck sake. They have caught that thing Jack has, now arlo will get it then you then me!"he stresses and Lucy smirks.
"Atleast this time you'll admit you're sick. Usually you're too stubborn too" Lucy mumbles and Tim sends her a glare and she bursts into laughter.

"Thanks Lucy. I don't deserve the help you're giving me. If you're feeling well enough you can head to work, I've got the twins from here" Tim says softly washing his mug.
"Do you seriously think I'm going to work looking like this"Lucy laughed.
"well thanks Lucy." Tim smiles and walks into the living room.

This isn't the first time he's dealt with sick kids, he knows what he's doing. He picks avalynns small body off the floor and sits on the sofa, she was cuddled into Tim's chest, she stirred and woke up and sniffled.
"Daddy?" She mumbled wiping her eyes, Tim kissed her head.
"Hey honey" Tim whispers softly.
"I sick" she says softly laying her head into the crook of Tim's neck.
"I know honey, Lucy told me" Tim replies, still so grateful for Lucy staying up with her.

"She looked after me well" Avalynn says softly and Tim sighs softly
"I know. She's great isn't she" and Avalynn nods in agreement and shuts her eyes.
"I'm going to get your brother up okay sweetie" Tim says lowering her on the sofa, placing a blanket on her and walking into Arlos room.

"Hey bud" he shakes arlo, arlo stirs and wakes up
"Daddy" he mumbles crawling into Tim's arms.
"how are you feeling, you okay?" Tim asks making sure he hasn't caught the virus.
"Tired" he mumbles wiped his eyes cutely.

"okay, your sister is sick. Are you okay going to preschool on your own?" Tim asks and arlo nods tiredly, Tim sighs and lifts arlo into the kitchen where Lucy was.
"Hey arlo buddy" Lucy says softly.
"Hi miss lucy" his eyes lighten up when he realises Lucy is still here.
"I'm taking him to preschool because I'm trying to put as much distance between the twins hoping he doesn't catch it." Tim explains and walks over to the shelf in the kitchen and takes out a cereal box and grabs a bowl, he pours arlo some cereal.

"Thanks daddy" arlo smiles happily grabbing the spoon and tucking in, Tim ruffles his short blonde hair and smiles "your welcome"

"hey I can take him to preschool, I was going to head home soon  and make sure that...man is out my home. So I can drop him off on my way." Lucy offers.
"it's okay Lucy, I'll take him- you can stay here for how long you want" Tim says Lucy smiles skepticslly.
"It's not you it's me..I just need to be alone, to like think about everything you know? Plus I have to do more party planning as it's their birthday in a week and a half" Lucy stutters.
