Angela and Wesley get to the pick up doors and they walk up to the teacher.
"Hey jacks just tidying his stuff up he'll be a minute" miss Avery tells Wesley and Angela handing him jacks stuff.

"hey thanks..uh we also need to collect the avalynn and arlo Bradford" Angela informs the teacher.
"Are you on the pickup list?" She asks and Wesley and Angela sigh
"No we aren't-" she starts and miss Avery cuts them off.
"We can't let them go with you" she says and Angela pulls out her badge.

"I am legally allowed to pick up these children, mr Bradford has been shot on the line of duty and he's currently in hospital getting operated on. So please for my sanity please let them go with us" Angela snaps and the teacher sighs and nods.
"I'll grab them" she says and walks off.

"MOMMY DADDY!!" Jack screams happily running up to them and hugging their legs.
"hey Jacky" Wesley says picking him up.
"Let's go!!" He claps
"No honey we need to collect avalynn and arlo" Angela says softly rubbing her son's hair.
"Why can't uncle Tim do it?!" He snaps confusingly wanting to go home.

"Uncle Tim is in hospital jacky" Wesley says softly and jacks eyes widen
"Is he dead?" He asks bluntly and Angela and Wesley smiles and shakes their head
"No he's not don't worry" Angela says and suddenly the twins came over with their stuff.

"It's the nice Wesley man!" Arlo points at Wesley and Wesley smiles, Angela leans down infront of them.
"Where's daddy?!" They both panic looking around.
"Your daddy wants us to collect you guys is that okay?" Angela says softly and the twins step back and shake their heads
"I want daddy..is..is he gone like mommy is?" Avalynn panics with watery eyes.

"oh god no! He's in hospital honey..he's been hurt but he's okay" Angela says stepping towards them and holding each of their hands.
Avalynn bites her finger nervously "Bad guys hurt him?" Arlo asks and Angela looked up at Wesley who was carrying Jack, Wesley's face softens
"yeah..but he saved someone's life- he saved someone's very close to mes life, he-he's a hero" Angela tells them and they both smile proudly
"he is our hero too. He saved us from bad mommy" arlo says and Angela smiles and she realises how much these kids actually needed Tim.

"shall we go now?" Angela smiles and the twins nod. Angela helps the twins put their back packs on their backs and she grabs their hands and walks to the car with them.
"Shit." Angela whispers.
"What?" Wesley turns his head to look at her as he straps Jack into the car.
"They don't have car seats..Tim's trucks at the station and I think his keys are in his belongings bag at the hospital" Angela sighs.

"Great" Wesley rolls his eyes.
"I mean..the hospital is only a 5 minute drive from here..maybe they can go without?" Angela asks and Wesley looks at her
"That's like illegal and unsafe, they are three" Wesley deadpans.
"And I'm a cop" Angela shrugs lifting arlo into the car and putting his seat belt on.
"What does that have to do with things?" Wesley asks now lifting avalynn into the car.
"I can't get arrested" she states
"You can. But okay whatever" Wesley chuckles now getting into the drivers seat and Angela getting into the passenger seat.

They safely drive to the hospital..

Lucy and grey take a seat in the waiting room, Lucy had no distractions she was panicking and spiralling, her hands where shaking and her legs were bouncing and tapping off the floor.
"Chen if you keep bouncing that leg I'll cut it off" grey sighs and Lucy fiddles with her fingers
"Look I'm sorry.." she sighs

"I understand..you're nervous and spiralling..and worried, but he'll be fine" grey tells her and Lucy nods.
"why haven't we heard anything yet from a doctor?!" She snaps
"because he's only been in the OR for less than an hour we still have like 4 hours to go.." grey says and Lucy nods.
