the ultimatum

FINALLY!!

Tim took a shaky breath and looks at grey.
"I don't want to open it" Tim mumbles getting flashbacks of everything he went through with Ashley.
"Well don't then" grey shrugs simply and Tim shakes his head.

"But what if it's something important?" He asks and grey shrugs again.
"Read it or don't, simple" grey says honestly and Tim nods folds the envelope in half and places it in his back pocket in his work pants.
"I'll think about it" Tim says and grey nods.
"You okay to be on shift?" Grey asks and Tim nods.
"Course, it's just a letter from Ashley it's no biggy" he replies.

"A letter from the women who abused and neglected your kids, pushed Avalynn into a wall, who hurt you and manipulated you, who made you chose Lucy or her and also who nearly got you sent away to jail for years, course it's going to mess you up Tim." Grey replies and Tim shrugs.
"It's fine, all im focused on is the twins" he replies and grey smiles.
"They excited for their party?" Grey asks and Tim smiles

"They don't know much about it, neither do I. All I know is Aaron and Lucy is putting it together." Tim states and grey nods.
"Well. All I'm saying is that it's going to be crazy and good." Grey says not wanting to give away what Aaron and Lucy is planning for the party,
"I'm sure it's only a small party" Tim says and grey chuckles.
"Yeah. Okay Bradford get out there" grey shoos Tim off.

Tim smiles and walks out the office. He was about to go on patrol then he decided to bring Lucy a coffee to front desk.
He goes into the break room makes an overly sugared coffee and goes to the front desk where Lucy was filling out a report for someone.
"I came to give you a caffeine boost" Tim says placing a coffee infront of Lucy.

"Oh my god your the best" Lucy smiles softly at Tim taking a sip of the coffee, and sighs in relief when the hot warm sugary coffee hits her mouth.

"How's the wrist?" Tim asks and Lucy shrugs
"I get the cast off in 5 weeks." She sighs and Tim smiles softly,
"That'll come quicker than you think " Tim says reassuringly.
"I hope so " Lucy says honestly.
"you can get Ryan done for assult, I'll arrest him just say the word" Tim says and Lucy shakes her head and was about to reply until Aaron comes around the corner, he didn't realise Tim was there.

"So Lucy the professional photographer and decorator has been hired. The decorator comes the day before the party, it costs 300 dollars altogether but I have that covered- oh Tim..hi" he says reading his phone then realises Tim was there..he glances between Tim and Lucy awkwardly.
"did I hear a professional party decorator and photographer?" Tim glares at Aaron and Aaron's eyes widen and he looks at Lucy, Lucy shakes her head and Aaron sighs.

"No? I don't think that came out my mouth..maybe you're tripping..hearing things.." Aaron says trying to act oblivious.
"I don't want you two to go overboard..they are only turning four" Tim grumbles and both of them nod.
"got it" they both say sticking their thumbs up.

Tim squints his eyes at the pair of them and walks off to go on patrol.
"awh he brought you coffee" Aaron says smirking and Lucy rolls her eyes at Aaron.
"It's just a coffee Aaron, you bring me coffee sometimes." Lucy shrugs
"No I brought you coffee yesterday and the day before because of your broken wrist...anyway about that broken wrist are you going to stop lying about what happened and just tell me?" Aaron asks and Lucy shakes her head
.
"I can't" Lucy shakes her head and Aaron raises his brow and looks around the lobby seeing if anyone could hear their conversation and turns back to Lucy and leans forward so only she can hear.
"It better not be some kind of sex injury with Tim" he says and Lucy's eyes widened and she chokes on her coffee.
"what- what the fuck Aaron! Course it's not. Ew- no!" Lucy snaps glaring at Aaron and Aaron raises his eye brows.
"It's not! Why would you even think that me and Tim are sleeping together. Because we are not!" Lucy snaps

"Maybe because you have been staying at his looking after him when he was sick..and he was looking after you too..and maybe because you were together for three years and used to do the devils tango everywhere so..I don't know why would I think that?" Aaron rolls his eyes.
"Everything is different now. I promise" Lucy says and Aaron nods
"Okay" he says simply.
"You don't believe me?" Lucy asks and Aaron shrugs.

"No comment. I better get back out there. Have a nice shift filling out reports" Aaron says happily and skips off, Lucy just huffs and goes to help someone in the lobby,

It was the day before the party and Lucy decided to take the day off and go to Tim's to help the party decorators in.
Tim was at work and the twins were at preschool and they were going straight to Angela's after to have a sleepover.

Lucy just got to Tim's at around 12pm, she collected the two birthday cakes for the twins and now she was waiting for the decorators to come. She went over to Tim's fridge and places the cakes into it.

Then the door knocked, she ran over and opened it "Lucy Chen?" The lady asked and Lucy smiled
"That's me" she says brightly
"Decorating for Avalynns and arlos fourth birthday?" They ask and Lucy nods and lets them in.

They decorate the place with balloon displays and a lot of safari and jungle animal themed things. Lucy thought it was amazing.

By the time they finished decorating both outside and inside it was around 3pm.
"Oh my gosh..this is amazing! They are going to love it!" Lucy says shocked at how well the place was decorated.
"We hope they do! Thanks for hiring us" the lady smiles and Lucy lets them out.

She couldn't wait to see the twins reactions the next morning.
She then gets the food delivery of all the food for the next day, everything was nearly prepared..she was so excited.

Tim came home from work later that day and was immediately shocked and overwhelmed at the party decorations.

"Fuck.."he says with wide eyes looking around,
Lucy jumps up to him "it's amazing isn't it?!" She says happily and Tim chuckles
"It's like..an explosive had gone off..I told you not to go overboard" Tim says looking outside at all the balloon displays and everything.

"come on Tim, they'll love it! This isn't all of it by the way" Lucy says and Tim snaps his head to her and his eyes widen.
"What?" He asks and Lucy smirks
"Bounce house and more things come early in the morning before the twins do"

"Oh my gosh..I don't even know what to say" Tim says still mind blown.
"You can help me set up the garden with tables and chairs as I can't do it because of my wrist" Lucy says walking outside and Tim nods
"Yes boss" he mumbles.

They finish the decorations and it was 9pm, they ordered pizzas and started to wrap up all the kids gifts.
"You have bought so much" Lucy chuckles as she helps Tim wrap all the gifts for the kids.
Tim shrugs "I got carried away" he laughs.
"And you said I went over board?!" She snaps and Tim shakes his head and laughs

They finish gift wrapping all the gifts and they set them up on the table, they were happy they were finished.
"High five" Lucy chuckles excitedly.
Tim gives her a high five and laughs, their eyes connect together, they got lost in eachother and suddenly..

Tim pushes Lucy against the wall and starts kissing her aggressively, Lucy kisses him back, she wraps her bad  arm around his neck and the other hand goes up his shirt..

Tim picks Lucy up and wraps her legs around his waist and carries them into the bedroom..
