*the Bounty* 

Y/N paced around the Bounty, she was worried about Lloyd ever since the signal was lost. Y/N leaned against the railing, they were still headed to the distress call, while Y/N was on edge.

"Lloyd, are you sure you want to go through with this?" Y/N asked, Lloyd looked at the Ninja before looking down as he placed his hand over hers. "No...but I don't really have a choice," Lloyd said as he let go of her hand and grabbed his parachute as he jumped over the edge of the Bounty and into the cloud. "Lloyd!" Y/N shouted as they all ran to the edge and watched as he fell.

Y/N sighed deeply as she squeezed her eyes shut, "he's okay, he'll be okay" Y/N thought to herself, Y/N flinched slightly as she felt a hand on her back lead then placed on her shoulder, Y/N looked over her shoulder to see Nya. "Y/N, we're getting closer to the distress call" Nya said softly, Y/N looked down at the black cloud and nodded as she walked up to the control area with Nya as she took the wheel again.

"How much farther to that distress call?" Nya asked as she glanced at Zane, "we should be approaching it now" Zane said as he looked back at them. Y/N peered across the Bounty as she looked around, "I don't see it," Cole said as he looked around. "There! That's gotta be it!" Y/N said as they made their way to a tall tower, "that's the Ninjago News Center!" Nya said as they came up on it. "It's covered in those...things" Kai said as he made a cringing face, "I guess they didn't evacuate in time" Cole said as he looked at Y/N, "I'll bring us in over the rooftop. You guys get them outta there before the clouds swallow the entire building" Nya said as she looked back at the boys.

"Come on, Cole!" Y/N said as she and Cole ran to the edge of the Bounty. Y/N and Cole started to climb down the ladders as they saw people come out of the building. "Hey folks! Need a lift?" Cole asked as he looked at the smiling people, who all seemed relieved to be saved. "Boy, are we glad to see you guys! Thanks!" a man said as he started to climb up one of the ladders. "Our pleasure. Mind your step now" Y/N said as she watched as people went on the ladder as she held onto it to keep it steady, while Cole held onto the other one.

"Ah...a little quicker, folks?" Cole asked as the cloud started to flood the roof, "creepy black vines closing in" Y/N said as she urged the people to hurry. "You should know you just ruined a heck of a broadcast!" Gayle said as she climbed the ladder with a computer tucked into her armpit. "What?" Cole questioned as he looked out.

Y/N started to climb the ladder, "aah!" Cole shouted as the black cloud tried to grab him as he climbed the ladder. "Okay, Nya, get us out of here!" Jay said as he watched them climb, "you've got it!" Nya said as she moved through the people and to the wheel. Y/N climbed quickly as she glanced down, "come on, Cole!" Y/N shouted as she kept climbing.

Just as they were about to make it, Y/N heard Cole shout, "oh!" Y/N looked over as the thruster faced Cole, as the thruster started it pushed Cole back, making him fall onto the bottom of the ladder. "Aah!" Cole screamed as he then caught the ladder. "Cole!" Y/N shouted as she looked down at him, trying to think of something to do.

"Hang on, Cole!" Y/N shouted as she started to climb down, "I got it! I think I can–" Cole said, but stopped when the rest of the ladder snapped off, Y/N gasped, "Cole!" Y/N screamed as she watched Cole fall into the cloud with the ladder following him. Kai, Zane and Jay looked over the edge with terror. Y/N felt the Bounty push forward as she held onto the ladder tightly, tears flying off her face by the wind pressure.

Y/N felt Jay pull her into the Bounty, Y/N looked up at him with tears in her eyes, and her face full of pain and terror. Jay looked at her, sorrow in his eyes as she shook her head, sobs escaping her lips. Y/N felt sick to her stomach as she placed her hand on her stomach. Jay pulled her into a hug as she cried out, Y/N screamed as the wind around herself and Jay quickened as an airball wrapped around them, her eyes turning white as she let out the pain of losing what she would consider, a brother.
