Chapter 64: Endings

*the Monastery* 

The Bounty parked beside the Monastery as Y/N watched Wu and Misako walk up to the Bounty, a few of the Monastery people coming up with smiles. The Ninja walked alongside each other. Y/N was in between Nya and Lloyd as she looked down, sadness on all of their faces. "What is it?" Wu asked as he looked at Y/N and Lloyd, "it's Cole, he...he" Nya started but put her hands up to her face.

"He's gone" Jay finished as he placed his hand on Nya's shoulder. "He fell into the darkness" Y/N said as she looked at Wu as she watched him fight back tears. "And the Realm Crystal?" Wu asked in a hopeful tone. "We destroyed it, but it didn't stop them," Lloyd said as he looked at his mother and uncle. "What do we do now?" Misako asked as she looked at Wu for answers.

"Luckily, you have me," Garmadon said as he made his way behind the Ninja with the Golden Armor in his hands. "Garmadon?" Misako asked softly, "Misako. The old me would have said something heartfelt and sweet. But I am no longer that man. Wu, wipe that gloomy look off your face, and do something with this" Garmadon said as he walked in between the Ninja and tossed the Golden Armor to Wu. Wu caught the armor and dropped his staff. "The Armor of the Golden Master?" Wu questioned.

"If we melt it down and reforge the Weapons of Spinjitzu, we might still have a chance" Y/N said as she stepped forward, "prepare the forge" Wu said as he looked at Misako. Kai said, "guess I better get to it, huh?" Kai asked. "Kai. You're the Master of Fire. You can do this" Y/N said as she looked at him with an encouraging look on her face. "Yeah, right. How hard can it be?" Kai asked as he walked up to Wu and grabbed the armor as he and the Ninjas walked off to the forge.

*a while later*

As the Ninja waited for the weapons to be done, Y/N trained in the courtyard. "Hey, I can be your big brother, if you'd like?" Cole's voice echoed through her mind, Y/N dodged the wooden beam from hitting her. "

Wake up sleepy head, we found shelter" a memory flashed through her mind as Y/N fit another would beam, "Y/N! I got you!" Cole's voice shouted, Y/N hit another beam.

"Sister sharpens brother" Cole's ghost face smiled back at her in her mind as Y/N dodged and hit a beam harshly. "It's good to see you, Y/N".

Another beam was struck, "or maybe you're just jealous Lloyd seems to have an eye for the princess", Cole's teasing tone was heard.

"If you need to talk to anyone, I'm here for you". Y/N could practically feel his hand on her shoulder as she kicked the wood beam, blocking another.

"So much help, wife" Y/N gritted her teeth as she struck another beam.

"Wow, simmer down there. You're safe, it's just us" Cole spoke softly as Y/N dodged a beam.

"You guys like each other" Cole teased, she hit a beam harshly.

"Look out!" Cole's voice rang through her mind as she blocked a beam from hitting her in the arm.

"I got it! I think I can-" his last words echoed through her mind as she broke a beam with a loud grunt. Y/N panted as she looked at the broken beams on the wood pole.

Y/N turned her head to see Kai hold up the Sword of Fire, the Nunchucks of Lightning, the Shurikens of Ice, and the Scythe of Quakes. Y/N walked over as he held it up. "And the Scythe... the Scythe Quakes" Kai said as he turned to Nya. "That was Cole's," Nya said as she looked back at Kai. "I think he'd want you to have it" Kai said as he leaned the Scythe towards her.

The bell rang, causing the Ninja's attention to turn to the entrance. Nya gasped, "the darkness" Nya said as the Ninja and Wu ran down slightly as they looked over the edge. "It's here" Lloyd said as they looked down to see Oni walking up the steps.

Y/N watched as the people they had saved ran up the steps and to the Monastery, Y/N looked down at the steps as the Oni came up. "So begins the end" Omega said as they looked up at the Ninja.

"Lloyd!" Misako called out, "mother. You should be inside" Lloyd said as he watched her run up the stairs with a child by her side. "I'm not leaving you" Misako said as Lloyd grabbed his mother's free hand. "No matter what happens those inside need your protection. Will you do that for me?" Lloyd asked, Misako looked back at the little boy as she hugged her son, "I love you. Be careful" Misako said as she continued to run up the steps and into the Monastery with the child by her side.

Faith walked up to the entrance, Jay gasped, "aah! Faith!" Jay said in surprise. "You should be resting, Faith. You're not fully healed yet" Y/N said as she looked at Faith with slight worry. "If the end is coming I will face it on my feet" Faith said as she held a sword. "As will I" Wu said as he appeared at the entrance of the Monastery. Wu walked down the steps as Garmadon grumbled, "hmm. I did not expect to fight alongside you again" Garmadon said as he looked at his brother, "nor I you. It seems life has a few surprises left for both of us" Wu said as he looked at Garmadon. Y/N looked down as she heard stomping footsteps coming up the stairs. "Close the doors! Quickly!" Wu shouted as the doors of the Monastery closed.
