Chapter 89
I nod at a few guards and they let me through and there getting up from seat Mix Diskerud. His hair still flawless as ever. He smiled and the kids went still. Their favorite player standing before them. After our old captain David retired he took the place of the new captain. "Hi Anne," he says.
"Mix what's up?" I went over to him for a hug and he gave me a really tight one.
"Your kids?" he asked. He rumpled Gavin's hair.
"Yes Gavin and Adrian," I said smiling down at them. Both were awestruck. "This is my husband Joe." Joe extends his hand out to Mix. A smile plastered on his face.
"Nice to meet you," Joe says.
"Pleasure to meet you as well. You guys are a power couple. I'm jealous of you my friend you got yourself one heck of a girl," Mix smiles at me then eyed Joe's jersey. "Galaxy fan I see."
"Yea gotta support to the boys," he grins and takes my waist.
"You know I love both teams but gotta support you guys," I said. "I got the kids supporting as well." Mix smiled and crouched so he could be at eye level with the boys. He spoke to them and I'm glad the both of them were so excited to meet him.
"Come on the rest of the team is waiting to see you guys," Mix motioned us to follow. I was going to walk besides Mix to talk but Joe held me back. I let the twins talk soccer with Mix. He was surprised at how smart they were at a young age.
"I'm so happy right now Joe. Thank you ," I kissed his cheek and a smirk comes on his face.
"Your welcome sweetheart," he says.

Joe's smile fades when we meet with the other players. I hugged them all and took some group pictures. Joe eyed some players who were getting too touchy feely with me. He just looked at me with the look and I shook my head so he knows that I'm comfortable. The kids were enjoying it but then they all have to warm up before the game starts. I said bye to them and Mix asked if he could get the two boys to kick around the ball for a few minutes before the game. I agreed and they were so excited. I was so overjoyed.
Joe and I we're headed towards our seats when we bumped into Gyasi Zardes from the LA Galaxy. He recognized me and then invited us for a small chat with the rest of the team. Oh it gets better and better.
We were settled in our seats and we could see the pitch perfectly. Joe was holding my hand and we watched as the twins were running around with the players. They were all smiles and I took pictures. "Joe I want them to become pro soccer players. I'd be a proud mom," I said and Joe smiled.
"Yes also part time musicians," he kissed my cheek and I put my head on his shoulder waiting for the game to start.
"Okay," I said. "Joe?"
"Yes baby," he says.
"Relax when I'm around guys okay. They're not like Sebastian who'll chase after me like crazed dogs," I look up at him.
"I know but do you even notice how they look at you," he raised his eyebrows.
"Joe your a celebrity too women stare at you all the time. Drool over you too. I'm not jealous," I nudged him.
"What's up with Mix? Ilani had warned me about your huge crush on him before we got married," Joe says nonchalantly. "Actually warned me about all your crushes."
"It was a crush," I said. "There's no need for you to be jealous okay." I take his chin and gave him a long passionate kiss.
"Guys who play soccer are such a huge turn on for you," he had a grin on his face besides the sensitive topic we're talking about. "Maybe I should start playing soccer."
