Chapter 57

Joe's POV

I put down my coffee as my phone starts to ring. Ilani's name shows up and I wondered why she was calling me. "Hold on guys turn the music off." I said sitting on the lounge chair. Nick and Kevin looked at me while the others were chatting quitely.

"JOE I'M BRINGING ANNE TO THE HOSPITAL SHE'S GOING TO HAVE THE BABY." She was shouting and I hear Anne's pained groans.

"What?!" I jumped up and grabbed my coat. I started to panic and I told everyone that I need to get back to New York because Anne was finally going to have our baby. I was overjoyed but anxious at the same time. I was going to be a dad. My brothers quickly drove me to the airport and I just wanted to be there for Anne when she goes into labor. My beautiful wife is waiting for me and I'm going to be there. I wanted to board a plane as soon as I could. Paparazzi had spotted me and asked why was I rushing I told and emergency broke out.

Sebastian's POV

I flipped through my sketchbook stopping to check if some designs needed to be edited when I get a phone call. "Yea." I sighed.

"Sebastian, Anne is about to go into labor." I got up and pulled my jacket from off my chair.

"Dante how'd you find out?"I rushed down the steps of my apartment searching for my keys.

"It's all over the news right now. Paparazzi spotted them." He says.

"Joe's not here he's on the stupid promotion tour." I said waiting for the elevator to get down.

"Exactly. While he's gone it's your chance to be there when Anne is going to need him the most." Dante says.

"Your right." I said smiling and closing my car door.

Joe's POV

I called my parents and I called her parents who said they were on their way over to the hospital. I called Mikey who was just hanging around and was freaking out on how I'm finally going to be a dad he said he was going to be at the hospital as soon as he can. I was excited but sweat was pouring out of me. All I could think about was getting there and holding Anne's hand so tight so she wouldn't be so afraid. I wanted to let her know I'm there on this special day. I went to look at a picture of her on my phone. She's going to be such an awesome and beautiful mom. I know a lot of kids who love her already. I'll do anything just to make her and our baby happy. I thought about all the things we can teach our little angel, even music. It has to be forever pumping in our veins. I was so worried I wouldn't be there for my love and I was impatient.

"Sir would you like a drink?" The stewardess asked and I nodded clasping my hands together to keep my self from shaking.

"Uh just water please." I cleared my throat and she hands me over a cold water bottle. "Thank you."

"Your very welcome sir." She smiles and moves on to a different passenger. I gulped down the cool refreshing water and I relaxed a bit.

"You alright son?" An old man opoosite of me looked over.

"My wife is about to go into labor." I said and he looks at my face, concentrating.

"Joe Jonas right?" He asked.

"Yup Mrs. Jonas is hysterical right now." I laughed but it died down.

"I'm sure she's doing alright. Your family is back there with her. She'll do okay. As for you just sit tight we'll get there. Who knows you'll be right on time." He smiles.

"I hope she doesn't freak out that I'm not there." I said.

"You'll get there. In the meantime someone else can be with her now." He pats my shoulder and smiles. "I'll let you relax for now." I pondered on what he said.Someone else can be with her now. My blood pressure is going up. Too high up. I scowled at the though of Sebastian being there. I tried to keep it cool but my thoughts won't shut up.

Sebastian's POV

I reached the waiting room and everyone was crowded around the tv. Ilani and Dani were talking quietly. Anne's parents saw me first and they rose up. "Sebastian?" Mrs. Rivon looked at me confused. "What are you doing here?"

"I heard Anne's going to be in labor soon." I could hear groans of pain coming from the different room.

"She's doing alright." Mr. Rivon says. Mikey glanced at me before he started typing into his phone.

"Can I see go in and soothe her?" I put on my best pleading face.

"Not right now." Mr. Rivon says and looks over at Mrs. Rivon.

"Yes just give Anne some space." She says and pats me on the shoulder. I sat down facing away from everyone.

Joe's POV

My phone dinged and I see Mikey's text. I read through it twice to make sure I was reading it right. Sebastian is at the hospital. I put the phone face down and laid my head back. He's not getting anywhere near my child.

The plane landed and I was aching to just make a run for it. My cab took a while driving to the hospital and I ran up the stairs since I was not patient enough to wait for an elevator. As I got to the waiting everyone was there. I gave my mom and dad hugs and Anne's parents. They excitedly talked about the wait for the baby. Ilani and Dani were pointing at Sebastian by the table. Mikey was out probably getting more refreshments for everyone. "Sebastian?" He got up and turned around to look at me. My mom put her hand on my arm signaling me to not to do anything drastic.

"Your here..." He says nonchalantly.

"Leave." I said.

"Joe!" My mom hissed.

"I said leave. My wife doesn't need you. I'm the one she's waiting for. So go. Leave us alone." I said and Sebastian doesn't take his deadly stare off me as he leaves the room. Not a second to waste I rush into the delivery room for Anne. She needs to see me.
